Older Men vs. tater tots

Lately I find myself liking older men. Younger men(tater tots) are such a joke. Just last night I went out with one. I went to go watch him play sax. I drove all the way across town and he didn’t even offer me a drink. Instead he hits on another lady across the way and offers her a drink. Hello! I’m right here! It gets better. Then I tip him and his piano player. Afterwards we went to Denny’s and I was talking about my sister. He goes oh show me a picture! So I do. He goes oh man she’s hot. I’m thinking what am I to you? Minced meat?! I was super angry when I got home. Told him I didn’t want to see him again. The thing I give older men credit for is that they have passed the mid-life crisis stage and have accepted life as is. This guy was a total joke! Treated me with great disrespect for no reason. And plus I paid for my portion at Denny’s. He didn’t offer there either! Okay, he did but complained about the bill being big because of what I ordered. He’s a douchebag and a half. They need to make a television show called Two and a Half douchebags. He’ll be the douchebag and a half.

I agree, old guys act like they appreciate the fact that you let them take you out.
The last 'tater tot' I went out with started getting points taken away as soon as I got into his junked up car. He could have cleaned it out a little, I bet there was 2 weeks of fast food trash in that car. Then he says I hope you like loud music, cause that's all I listen to, then he blares out some pretty good Dep Leppard, but still I thought, not impressing me yet.
Then there was the long distance guy that was going to come see me as soon as he could talk 2 other women into letting him visit them so the trip would not be wasted. I said let me make this easier for you, you won't have to drive as far cause I won't be home, no matter what time you can get here I won't be home.
Girl, preach it to the choir! I’m gonna get my model body back and once I do I’m leaving all these loser younger so-called men in the proverbial dust! When I get mad I get mad REAL GOOD!
But yes, they don’t appreciate anything. NOTHING. They’re always thinking what if I can get someone better than you? Ugh it just makes me sick! barf

Unfortunately, it works differently the other way round. Older women, I'm not so sure about that.

I LOVE THIS POST!

Ba ha ha ha ha

Over the hill is where it's at. I've had crushes on gray haired dudes since my teens. If he looks like Sam Elliott, then he's def on my hawties list, for sure!

I'm sorry you had that experience, sister. I hope you find a good egg that treats you like the Queen that you are.

Thank you Ginger. I will. I choose to be positive with hope. Here’s a little something for you.

Older men have wisdom. Now if I can find one .readprofile
Older men are of a different generation...when they weren't spoiled brats. Learned to work for a living and be men. My problem is older men now are either in nursing home or cemetery.doh
My dad was 54 when I was born. Mom asked me once if I felt gypped cause didnt have a young dad who could play with me. i said no. First off, he played, made me a kite and showed me stuff, built me a sled and pulled me on it. Second off, told her I didn't need a playmate, I needed a father. And he knew who he was, where he had been and where he was, had no wild oats to sow and had knowledge to teach me about life.
I didn't need a young dad who was too busy finding his own way in the world.

Orz, I loved reading that. Thank you for sharing.
I have to give credit where credit is due. After 2 bad marriages God granted me 18 months with the perfect man. He was so sweet and thoughtful and treated me like a queen. Cooked for me, cuddled at all the right times, took me shopping for no good reason..just for fun. The only bad thing was that he was not completely over the lady that dumped him. Then as soon as she found out he was going to retire with a big settlement and travel...she came back and he took her back and being the perfect romantic man that he was they got married on Valentines day. They were married 7 years and she died of a heart attack. A year later he calls me and wants to get back together, I had to think about it and then said no, I can't go backwards. But if he hadn't said he wanted to give me a ride in his wife's corvette that he bought for her, I might have said yes. But just like before he wasn't over her yet.sad flower
Hpy...Yeah, I never understood why people can’t get over someone. I’m always told I’m a good woman yet nobody wants me lol. But man they stick like glue to someone else. confused Not sure what the trick is but today on Facebook I asked what would make me “interesting” to someone. Because everyone puts that they want someone interesting on their profiles. My Christian lady friend replied and blew it out of the water with this:

Being interesting is shallow. Be someone who thinks of others and serves others in all you do. People of character will notice and be grateful. Plus Jesus tells us to serve. He never once tells us to be interesting ??
Dee, my opinion is that he intentionally did everything he could to make you dump him. Be glad he did cause if he stuck around you would be writing how rude he was the next time you went out with him.

My first time dates were only for coffee.
She put a smiley face at the end there. Not double question marks. The emote didn’t translate. It was this...grin
Well there you go...I served my last husband for 18 yrs and then got blessed with Mr. Right for 18 months. That seems a little out of balance to me...lol
But it was nice to know what it felt like to be spoiled. Now I just spoil myself..cut out the middle man..lol
You don't need to be giving up, you're still young.
In that case I better go peruse the Facebook profiles. Over 30 men hit like on my profile! blushing Now let’s see how many will actually talk to me...laugh
There you gocheering
