ACV Vinegar
Several times now while researching something on the internet I’ve come across benefits of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR or ACV for short. So as I do with most things I go off researching ACV (instead of what my original search was for). I came across something so scientific that it went right over my head with a tailgate saying “boring”. Then I came across a 12 ounce once a day ACV drink recipe and made it. It had 2 Tablespoons of vinegar which I just happened to have a large jar of organic ACV. I have several times done plain shots of that ACV but I shudder every time so it’s not a daily habit. Who knew I was going to fall in Love at first sip. I was glad I only made one glass and I’m hopeful that down the road it has some benefit, I really don’t care which benefit. I know it helped a lot of people with digestive issues of which I don’t have. It supposedly helps with brain fog which I enjoy. We’ll see six months down the road. This morning’s challenge was to multiply the recipe by five and make a picture so I can readily have a glass a day. All went well until I added the last ingredient before stirring. It was two and a half teaspoons of cinnamon which decided to land on top of the water and stay a dry powder form. I stirred it to make dust and have dry cinnamon powder stick to my stirring stick. Eventually some tiny lumps started to sink to the bottom, the water also started turning a tint of cinnamon. I never realized how impossible it is to work with. Maybe I need to blend the powder with a liquid before pouring it in.
Guess what while writing this I resolved my own problem. Next time I make this delightful drink I am going to use a cinnamon stick instead of that damn impossible powder that I dearly love in most cooking recipes.
Just for the hell of it I might mention that I have always had a variety of vinegars in my cupboards because I could actually put vinegar on anything and like it. There are many flavors from other cultures of vinegar which I have many. As much as I love coconut in all things, turns out that coconut vinegar is the only one I disliked.

The original and your own modifications would be interesting.
I tried making a tumeric chia seed pudding, very healthy and not so tasty so I have to find another way to enjoy tumeric.
I love chia seed pudding though in coconut milk.
I bought a handful and popped it in the freezer. It grates (shreds?) very easily from frozen, as does ginger.
If making batches, perhaps steeping the brew with a cinnamon stick and a slice of fresh turmeric may work.
The vinegar is said to change the pH of our precious bodily fluids. Especially if the homeostatic functions of kidney/lungs are on permanent vacation. These changes have positive health effects on many of our well documented energy fields. Foremost on the one used by Reiki practitioners and others with special powers to manipulate undetectable auras, sans any physical touching, or use of instruments. It was first noticed in Russia, as with all such claims. Then the electromagnetic channels just under the skin, as directed by moomoo sparks coursing through fascia planes, also responsible for those glowing effects seen best in Kirlian photography, --- are no doubt also involved.
Of course, these powerful influences enter into our spiritual lives as well, and our unconscious dream lives, not to mention on the effects of stellar and planetary motion on our astrological charting.
There's much more, as any wide-eyed quick believer will know. Placebo effects, gotta love 'em. We all respect and use them. For real.
Also causes low potassium and bone loss... essentially dissolves your bones a particularly bad problem for older people because they are more prone to get osteoporosis.
Can cause stomach issues.
Can be dangerous if you have an insulin related problem like diabetes.
Also interacts with some medications.
A lot of popular baloney on the Internet, but bad idea and few of the benefits are supported by studies.
You'd probably be better off drinking a glass of fluoroantimonic acid. It's can dissolve glass. So obviously it dissolves all the toxins in your body. Same reasoning.
Now that will clean your system and channel your inner Chakra!
Do shots! You can mix it with a little cinnamon because it's on the bitter side. But don't worry, you won't notice the bitterness after about a half a second.
"SWITCHEL - switzel, swizzle, switchy, ginger-water or haymaker's punch is a drink made of water mixed with vinegar, and often seasoned with ginger. It is usually sweetened with molasses, though honey, sugar, brown sugar, or maple syrup are sometimes used instead."
It's a VERY old time (1600s) beverage from the Caribbean/New England used to restore one following heavy exertion/perspiration hence, "Hatmaker's Punch".
Kinda makes Sense - Blackstrap Molasses is essentially boiled down sugar cane juice ... a condensed source of minerals which would be Lost through sweating.
Not unlike Gatorade®, I reckon ...
It's not the Hottest, but a near Perfect balance of Heat & Fermented Pepper Flavor.
I've been known to use it as salad dressing mixed with Ranch & even the topping on pancakes ala syrup - Works for Me cuz I'm not overly partial to Sweets.
Everyone drank it because it was thirst quenching.
I found a simpler way to ingest ACV. Tablets. Many stomach issues are caused by not enough acid, not too much. Using stuff to stop production of acid in gut just makes body make more.
* Raw.
I like it as it helps with indigestion, lower blood sugar, help to keep BP normal.
People also say it help fight Corona virus.
It sure has good health benefits.
Raw unfiltered..........
I used to be able to see "mother" but not any longer.
This product is so popular that I now believe what is sold today is counterfeited
I told the company and was told to just be patients, really like a year?
And yes....there is a China sized difference between acv w/ 'mother'* & the clear stuff by Heinz.
"There are 39 grams of sugar in a 12 oz Coca-Cola can."
39 gr. Sugar = 1/4 cup ...
Sounds Legit ...
Such is the Word that's Out There...
... And Bragg® ACV has developed a near cult-like following.
That said -
SOME Varieties of "Regular" ACV have Observably more Mother than others.
I * bump *'d this cuz since Fay posted it, I've developed a Real Liking for the stuff.
Turmeric and Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Tea - healthy detox tea made with turmeric, apple cider vinegar and honey. A beverage that you can drink daily!
I'm trying to get more tumeric in me but not doing such a good job on accomplishing that. Now I'm into collagen and electrolytes as well.
It is difficult keeping up with everything.
You know what you need, Fay? You need something Healthy that's also Enjoyable.
Like GIN ...
Since this was posted, I've sipped some "regular' ACV I had around.
Today I picked up some of the "Good Stuff" ... Not Bragg, but a "House Brand" variant.
Gotta say - There's a Noticeable difference.
The Regular stuff tastes like Vinegar - The Good stuff Definitely has an Apple taste.
There's Also a Helluva difference in Price!
Someone's makin' a Killing on that stuff!!
Alternating Current Voltage?
Just joking...
I'm still loving my ACV with the Mother. I don't have any negative side affect like the negative Nellie's said I would. I've never had high blood pressure except when I go to the dentist. No heartburn, my teeth are fine and most of the time I feel like a million bucks.
Mic thanks for the video - I have watched many of Dr Ken Berry's videos, I really like him, however it was a different doctor's video that got me started on ACV and this reconfirms it.
Powerful stuff folks.
I buy cheap distilled vinegar for the weeds in the yard and cleaning windows or laundry. I've used vinegar for the last 50 years for a variety of things and in many recipes as well (don't use distilled in recipes)
Dilute ACV with Celery Juice ...
ZERO CARBS!!
Your persistance in me eating a pizza just might work with your last video - I just may have to make that after I eat all the meals I already have planned. Thanks so much kiddo.
