It's a real lethal problem

While debatable what the best methods for change are, to prevent further slaughter of innocent people, children & adults, it definitely needs change, not resistance to change.
Change is inevitable. Growth is possible. "Lead, follow, or get out of the way."

Not so clued up on these stats but the USA does have the highest population out of all these countries no? dunno
Thanks for adding that more geographical oriented and inclusive depiction r. thumbs up
It underlines what is stated in the first table/graph I posted.
The rest of the world survives without a surplus of guns.
L - of the countries with the top % of gun ownership and gun deaths PER CAPITA, yes.
But, those top 2 tables are per a certain amount of people, so that is mostly irrelevant.
It's based on "per 100 people" (ownership) or "per 100,000 people" (deaths by gun).
You can see from the image r posted, that no other country in the entire world has the density of guns as the USA and China has a lot more people.
China has other methods to eliminate their people.
and, what if a knife became illegal after the Whitechapel murders?
They seem to have quite a few remaining.
Regardless, this blog is about the US gun problem.
and what would you put in your car if they made antifreeze illegal-it's a common sweetner for a fouled relationship, according to true crime stories
you are singling out guns not murder
there are countless stories about people using a chainsaw to dismember bodies. should chainsaws be banned?
so, there should be background checks at home improvement stores? that could have stopped Durst
Propylene glycol. It has a lot of the same properties as antifreeze, but it's not toxic.
Jim, one murder by any means is too much. my point is, for legal owners, there is a background check for guns, for knives, poison or chainsaws there is not. if one has a desire to kill, they will find a way.
If a store sells chainsaws, yes.
I'd vote for that change.
Same with knives with more than a 5 inch blade.
That may be true. But, we shouldn't make it easy for them to do so.
also, it seems common to use luggage and plastic totes and freezers to hide bodies. should they screen people who buy those too?
That depends. Have you purchased any with those knives ? laugh
your laugh emoji is as false as Kamala's fake cackle.
just a heads up. with Biden's open boarders, expect more. these cartels and criminals don't like us and they sure don't need us to get them guns. they're part of the open pipeline.
i call this blog officially shut down. crickets
It appears you are trying your best to shut it down.
Does the subject matter bother you?
"don't be stupid"

You missed the real point here. It's Jim's blog.
Maybe you disagree with the content but pounding it shows your instability.

You made your point... move on.
C, ooops, was i suppose to agree with everything the blogger says? i thought this was a discussion. pardon me
i call this blog officially shut down. crickets

You made the call... that's not discussion.
what ev'. this blog is nothing but pandering. he may be ok with an FBI colonoscopy to own a gun ore chainsaw but that's certainly not what General Washington had in mind.
You mean back when they had front loading muskets ? laugh
Jim, have you considered wooing Secretary Psaki? i think she's perfect for you. you can make answer puzzles together
I could do worse. But, Psaki is married.
i'm sure Mr. Psaki is unsatisfied
Well, they are still married and have 2 kids.

Unfortunately, there are currently loopholes to allow people to sell guns at trade shows without background checks. That's one of the things, that should be changed. But SOME people are against it. I wonder why $$$ ?
Have a safe & fun trip.
Yeah, unfortunately, the NRA $$$ keeps those R senators in line against sane & safer gun laws. thumbs down
c - apparently, some people think the blogger is there all the time to respond to them,
and if not, the blog should be shut down in 10 minutes. rolling on the floor laughing
Excellent 'Closer Look' by Seth Myers tonight on this topic;
