A certain number of people die each year from flu,,. But, generally they don't have to dig up parks for mass graves, or have refrigerated semi trailers full of bodies the morgue can't handle.
covit ???? might be a flu ,,,but COVID is a killer virus ,,,,
Even Trump thinks we should vax for Covid ! But don't use Clorox!!!!!!!!! Instant death!!!!uh oh wow
@Pat

They did with Spanish flu. Frankly not a great deal of difference as that killed millions too.sigh
I don't see your point. The symptoms of Covid are very similar to the Flu, it has the same respiratory attacks as flu, but it is many times worse than the annual common flu.

I hear the UK has initiated the best vaccine rollout of any country and while the government has made many mistakes they are learning from those mistakes so there is now light at the end of the tunnel.
Chesney, hello

So if the cure is so bad, tell me how is it killing people? From what I hear "only" a handful has died and most from the english/swedish vaccine. We have (here in Norway) had 3 healthy nurses dying from a-z after blood clots. Horrible stuff and the whole vaccine is now on hold (permanently I hope). So that is about as bad as it gets it seems.

Explain how that translates to millions dying of the vaccine, if you may.

It has mysterious ingredients that is clocked to kick in later?
Don't worry Ches, you will not be invaded by any army in any foreseeable future.
Can't agree that the German scientists are lacking behind though.
You dodged nicely away from the question mate, but then again that is your prerogative.

Just take the affordable and practical astrazeneca vaccine. It's worth the risk for those at-risk. And to make vaccines twice as safe make sure you don't get hit by a bus on the way to the clinic. Make sure you use all the pedestrian crossings.
The actions have been slightly different in Wales than England, but neither country has been calling Covid 'flu, nor acting as if it is.

Given how many people have been ill and died in the UK, not to mention all the other health and economic ramifications of how it's been handled, I don't see why any country would want to follow our steps, other than to avoid our mistakes.

Furthermore, whilst there are commonly 'flu-like symptoms, it's surely clear by now that Covid is so much more than that? Saying it's 'flu is like saying you heard a note, therefore the tune it came from doesn't exist.
Covid is just another type of flu and I should help behave the same as in previous years. the night belongs to the bed and the others live at their own discretion. And not to lock 90% of healthy people in quarantine for the second year in a row to protect 10% of 80-year-old polymorbid seniors.
It is not actually a flu (as such) - it belongs to another class of viruses. Coronaviruses out of bats (originally)......
I mean the difference in their genetic structure..........

They are different on a genetic basis; although they share some similarities, in ternms of their symptoms....................................

Btw, can't you change the spelling? it is not covit, it is covid-19; or just covid (for short)...

professor
That's ok, I make typos, too....(see above)......professor
Oh, well, if you want to spell it "covit", who am I, to say that you shouldn't?.......professor

Major coronavirus variant found in pets for first time.thumbs down

The variants of SARS-CoV-2 that keep emerging aren’t just a human problem.

confused

It coincided with a surge of the B.1.1.7 variant in the United Kingdom. So the team—led by veterinarian Luca Ferasin, head of the hospital's cardiology service—looked at 11 pets: eight cats and three dogs. None of the animals had a previous history of heart disease, yet all had come down with symptoms ranging from lethargy and loss of appetite to rapid breathing and fainting. Lab tests revealed cardiac abnormalities, including irregular heartbeats and fluid in the lungs, all symptoms seen in human cases of COVID-19.

Enter at your own risk doh
