Enough with the "likes"
We need the ability to turn off "likes" and be able to send an automated message to anyone whoattempts to send a like to us. Something like.....
How about composing a short written response that indicates your interest and explains WHY you
think we are a good match ?
Or perhaps you'd like a different automated message to be sent out to people who send you a "like".
Another great change, would be a multi-question quiz about your profile, that they have to get correct, before they can send ANY contact effort to you. That would weed out a lot of the scammers, who blast out the same message hundreds of times.

It's easy enough to Ignore 'em - and, with Few exceptions, that's what I Do ...
Should I like back ? I also hope the ones who like me don't get upset , hahaha .
Either they are too shy to write, or can't be bothered?
In which case, I can't be bothered either and just ignore their Like.
Now, if it's from another country/continent I think maybe they couldn't contact me because of my settings?

Maybe they just want to like you from the distance?

solution/improvement to an ongoing issue.
A - Being able to opt in for an automatic reply would help, especially if we could individually create what automated reply we would want to send back. Like..... "If you are TRULY interested, after reading my profile, tell me why you think we would be a good match."
D - They can like me, without sending a like. I'm not necessarily against people liking me.
It doesnt matter if one wrote in a profile you are looking for ONLY a person with one green eye, one brown, feathers instead of hair and living in a cave. You would still get likes and messages from idiots who SAID they read your profile!
Sometimes I wonder if I am supposed to want to marry or ADOPT the writer! Sheesh!
The joke is the foreign ones. Sure..I will fly right over to meet you. Or better yet, fly them over here.
I don't know if it is hope springs eternal in the hearts of doomed. Or they want to pretend anyone gives a darn.
