I knew Chat had them but...
Florida is or at least was not the land of iguanas, however it has become so in the south or at least I thought it was in just the south as well as those damn boas and pythons. Chat has written blogs on them as he lives in southern FL.My son lives in Orlando quite a bit north of Miami and he caught a substantially large iguana yesterday at work. He posted it on FB as well as texted me pictures. Someone filmed him as he was trying to catch that big lizard and the wooting and hoorahing was cute when he finally caught it. He took it home and I'm not sure what is happening with that. He has one killer dog that will eat the lizard if she can get to it and he has close to 20 bunnies (they sell them) So his little zoo is growing now that he has become a Daddy, not only to a son but a slew of fur babies.
The lizard is actually very pretty and if anyone can form a relationship with it, it will be my boy.
Mic - I wonder if lizard taste like chicken? (jokes like that don't go over to well with my bouncing baby boy)

There is a local certified iguana removal service.
I first noticed them on Fort Lauderdale Beach where they habitat around the rocks along the inlet. Some are 4 feet long!
