New suburb with new people.

The thing about moving to a new suburb, is how few people you know. So far, I know one person, which is K. My future roommate is going to be the second person I get to know in the suburb, and I am really excited to establish some form of life there. The first few days after I move, will be spent on really making it my own. I know where each piece of furniture is going to be, and I know where all my other stuff is gonna go. The thing I am most looking forward to: More space for clothing. Here, I don't really have a lot of space for clothing, mainly because I have so many hoodies. I should really put them away during the summer period, because it can get hot here.. Last summer, we had several months straight with no rain at all, so hoodies weren't required. I might put the hoodies at the very back of the clothing cabinet, and have the more summery clothes front and center. I also need a new pair of what we call "china shoes". I have no idea why they are called that, if I am honest. It's a type of indoor shoe, that some people wear. Usually I am running around in my socks, but during the winter months, the floor gets so cold, that my feet feel like ice cubes. Anyway, those shoes can wait until winter time. No reason to wear them now during the warmer periods.

The municipality I am moving to is called Vallensbæk, and it is a seaside municipality dating all the way back to 1184, but it was only recently given the official title of municipality. That happened in 1842. If you are interested in reading about it, go here:

Yeah, Denmark is an old country.

The thing I am most excited about, however, is moving away from here. Minus the two years in Scotland, and my first few years in Copenhagen, I have lived in this municipality for the better part of 25 years.. I think around 30, if I am honest. So it's time to move somewhere new, where I know very few people, and can form new friendships. I have asked if K is up for a bit of municipality exploration. I'll bring my camera and take some great pics. There is a small village not too far from where I am moving to, so K and I can go there for some excellent pictures, I'm sure!

In other news: I went to the school today, to talk about my upcoming education. It was relatively short, at around 15 minutes, and I got the answers I were looking for. After the conversation at the school, I called my mother, because she wanted an update on how it went. At one point, she dropped the "Now you need a girlfriend and some kids..".. I swear, mothers.. I am taking it slowly, one day at a time. If by some kind of miracle, someone is interested in me, then I'll pursue it, but as it stands now, nobody really show any interest in me, which is fine. That means I can live my life without thinking about other things than education and such.

All in all, a great day today, and it's not even 6 pm! I have much more to do today, namely slowly packing the things I don't need. Like my spare PS4 and my Xbox One. I rarely use both machines, so they are the first things I'm gonna pack. Later, I am participating in a voice chat with some friends I have from England, which is a great way to spend an evening!

I'll figure something out, for sure
