All Hail the Queen !
Queen Elizabeth (II) has a birthday today. She is now 95.
Having recently lost her husband of 73 years, Phillip. it likely is not the happiest of birthdays.
But, at 95 you have to take any day that you can get.
For those of you, who would like to treat the queen to dinner,
her favorite foods include;
steak.
For a main course she loves game, things like Gaelic steak
fillet steak with a mushroom whisky sauce – especially if we done with venison
For a first course, she loves Gleneagles pâté, which is smoked salmon, trout and mackerel.
Her favorite drink; a gin and Dubonnet – a sweet, wine-based aperitif
pinkys up.
