Packing my stuff down for the move

I have slowly begun packing for my move in a weeks time. All my movies and video games went into boxes yesterday, and today I packed my books and cleared the stuff from underneath my soon-to-be-gone bed. So far, I have filled three boxes, and I have bought seven. Do I need all seven? No, I don't think so. Why did I buy seven, you might ask? Well, I wasn't sure how many I needed, so I got seven just to be on the safe side. The things on my dresser alone will fill one box, and I have to take good care of three items there: My Bollinger champagne, the champagne K gave me for my birthday last year, and my bottle of coconut rum. I will have to wrap two of the bottles, since the last one has its own box. Furthermore, there are a few things that I will struggle to find space for, but I will manage somehow. I am usually pretty good at making space for things anyway, so this won't be any different.

I have been binning things, though. Two pc's and one tv. I never used those three things anyway, so no reason to take them with me. I am happy with my PS4, laptop and Xbox One. I haven't used the Xbox in a while, though. I need to figure out if I want to keep it or sell it. It works fine, I just use my PS4 the most. I might just do a format and sell it to someone who will have more use for it than me. Speaking of video games.. It's been a while since I sat down and played a game for 12 hours straight, and it might take a while before I do that again, since most of the games I have now bore me. The last game I truly sat down and did 12 hours in, was Assassin's Creed: Odyssey. That happened about a year ago, I think. I am not quite sure, though. I do know that it was when I did a platinum trophy in the game, which took me 117 hours and a few minutes to get. These past few days and weeks, I haven't really had the desire to play any games for more than maybe fifteen minutes at a time. In some cases, I spent around thirty minutes in a game, and then I turned it off, because it kind of bored me. And also because I had some things to attend to. Namely my upcoming move and my education starting in august.

But so far, everything is going smoothly for the move.

One week to go!

A new beginning, sort of.

One day you will get your own place. It is better to handle your own door key.
My bins have been full for weeks, anticipating a move that I might be making. What truly astounds me is how much you store that you don't really need.

Good luck with your move.
