I met one assistant that worked for him at a car show in oslo,
said JL is just as down to earth in real life as he appears to be on tv.

Never really liked the guy. I did watch him a bit as they showed the Previous nights show on British TV, and ua he could be funny but I didn't take to him. You milage may vary.

ST - I don't list him as one of the greatest comedians of all time.
But, he has made me chuckle from time to time and I don't have much negative to say about him.
I've enjoyed him. Happy Birthday to him.

He also regularly played Joe, a mechanic on Tim Allen's second sitcom series, Last Man Standing, which ends this May 20th this year after it's 9th season.
