Where's The Outrage?
Yet another rough weekend here in Chicago. Where's the outrage? Where are the protestors? Where's BLM?Do Black Lives not matter when other Black Lives are doing the shooting and killing? If they wanted to do something constructive they would come down and march in these areas where the majority of the shootings are happening. But they can't be bothered to do something constructive that might actually draw attention to a real crisis that we have going on here.

I'm sorry to read that this year is worse,so far.
I hope and pray as we go into the dog days of summer they find solutions and that includes
prioritizing children and elderly.
If you had done some research,you'd found out that Chicago is one of the most 'Guncontrolled' Cities in the US!
So,it's not likely the fault of the 2nd Amendment what is happening there!
Oh,it also has been controlled by the Democrats forever,as have the other Cities with similar problems!

Well any way I had a look at a map of the worst city , name escapes me at the moment , map showed where all the murders were and the police shootings . They were not overlapping , police were policing areas differently . I don't know about Chicago but suspect it would show the same pattern .

SN - I couldn't agree more. If BLM gave a rat's patooty, they'd be in these major cities trying
to be part of this solution not stirring things up. The majority of these shootings, at least here
in Chicago, are black on black crimes. What better place for BLM to show their strength and capabilities
in helping the situation. But we all know they won't do that.
Grand - Jericho Green is on my subscribe list. I love the guy - he tells it like it is. I stumbled across him
a little while back.
Mic - that's exactly why BLM will not bother to try and help. That would mean putting themselves in harm's
way. I'm not sure how our residents in these crime infested areas would accept them - especially those
causing harm to begin with. BLM has also been a part of the looting and rioting that took place last summer
and many of the businesses affected haven't come back. There might just be some animosity there.
I was just reading the above article from when then president Trump first offered help to Chicago.
Our wonderful Mayor declined saying that she had it under control. Since then just over 2900 people
have died from shootings. How many of these lives could have / would have been spared if she had
accepted his help? Especially the innocent bystanders. The young children. But no our mayor was too
bullheaded to God forbid accept help from The Orange Man". She'd rather see her city die than do that.
And unfortunately die is what over 2900 people did
Not surprisingly you call someone a communist just because they want gun control, and suggest they go to North Korea.
The mark of a fool is to attribute outrageous motives to anyone who has a different opinion to theirs. You would have made a good Joe McCarthy.
I don't want to take guns off the law abiding people of America. If you did you would end up with just criminals having them, as you point out. I want to take away guns that were designed for use on the battlefield. I think the use of guns should be minimised and reduced. I doubt if they can ever be eliminated though.
Having this view does not make me a communist.
