Keeping it real
If was honest, loving, caring, genuine and all the rest of it why am I divorced?I FEEL i am all of the above....but I also know there are times I fail. Example:
I am honest that I will not lie but I am not honest that I will tell you everything when i'm worried or upset.
I am loving, touchy-feely and romantic. But sometimes I just like my own company, like a long bath, a walk or 5 mins in the garden.
I am genuine by MY expectation of myself. My heart intentions are my guide, not my story. But there are times when I get hurt, frustrated, confused, angry and the genuine side goes in layby till I get it figured out.
So tell me........
What should I REALLY put in my profile? I aint going to lead someone to think i'm all this wonderful stuff for him to later find that my passion for odd socks is a big no-no for him. Nor am i going to tell him that sometimes i go to bed at 8pm with a book and a secret stash of jaffa cakes that i refuse to share!
Ooops...me and my big mouth!! LOL

You might want to clarify if that is you or someone else. No one wants to get together with someone who doesn't have the staying power.

You should add that on top of I'm sucure with myself and I know who I am.

thank you all for taking the time to comment and share your thoughts with me!! i have much there to think about..and yes i am a deep thinker and yes it does annoy some and please others, so i constantly have to keep it in check...hense me not wanting to share everything in my head! lol
i am now officially guilt free of any wrong doing by not sharing my jaffa cakes!!!! LOL

BSooner - I agree with your home ec teacher totally! The small things are still big enough to make or break some good atmospheres in a home but nothing is impossible if the maturity is present enough to compromise :) All I say is thank goodness for pressurised toothpaste bottes!! hahaha (joke, i'm the one that leaves the cap off the tube!!!) lol

You are absolutely right D, that one simple question says so much about a person's personality. Not saying either way is good or bad, or right or wrong.(even though my way is right!)
now if we are talking making beds then i admit to unlawful thoughts if anything or anyone so much as touching my newly made bed!!
