An act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government...

To some it's called insurrection. To others it's called a peaceful tour of the White House.
I have my opinion and you have yours.
This is something I predicted. Sorry I was correct. 40 minute long video. I'll watch it again.

Thanks for posting the video.

Obviously, it was a lot more than a "peaceful protest" or a "normal visit to the Capitol".
Indeed, it was clearly insurrection and those who inspired it, and also those who participated in it, and those who attempt to whitewash it, are traitors to the Constitution.
May justice be enacted.
Anyone who does not condemn this kind of behavior is wrong. My problem is, that we are so divided that we cannot seem to see...that both sides..are wrong.

The media stood by and watched as cities were burned down and looted...and, they called that peaceful protesting. Fact is, people were killed in those riots too. But, it served the media’s best interests.

As far as trying to impeach Trump again..Another way to further divide the country.

Two wrongs do not make a right..I thought this from the very beginning.

As I have said in the forums...Trump threw Pence under the bus. He did what the constitution told him to do.
You want to keep opening a bleeding wound there Jim..

Sometimes, it is best to just let things go...

What happened to George was wrong...and, the one responsible for that is in prison..

But, you wait..we will have to live that again too..cause some lawyer will try to make a name for himself...

Neither side is ever all right or all wrong...

Hopefully, next election we will have better people on both sides..
You see things as 2 sides that are wrong.
I see illegal and legal acts by individuals.
Any illegal acts by anyone, whether they are on any side, no side, or both sides is wrong.
The trial for George Floyd's killer is over. He's guilty, as decided in court.
There will be other trials for other killers upcoming. I will await the evidence and those decisions.
There have been MANY arrests regarding the insurrection and guilty pleas.
There will also be many trials involving Donald Trump. No one is above the law.
No. I want justice. When crimes are committed, it is never best to let it go.
That leads to the guilty thinking they can commit more crimes and get away with it.
That particular individual was dubbed "the horned man", by our media, over here, as if he were some sort of goat, or something. Well, I suppose, on reflection, he was...
An organic diet, hey?
I’m thinking those Mom and Pop stores that were burned down and looted by those. mostly peaceful protests...were hoping to get some justice from those illegal activities too..

Thank you Chat for posting the video...very scary indeed what people can do as a group.

Good night Jim..

I’ll leave you with Bo...he loves to post facts.professor

Actually, I couldn't believe what I was seeing, on the day that happened. Being serious now; of course they should be punished, or the whole structure of "organised society" falls apart, doesn't it?
Jacob Chansley -- more commonly known as Jake Angeli photographed with Rudy...

Short list of those charged crimes in the January 6th White House break in.

Some carried deadly or dangerous weapons.
Sobering stuff isn't it. How can people tolerate those who claim a peaceful tour? How has America become so divided again? Alarming isn't it?
I'm only going to comment on what I've seen on the news regarding America. BTW, it wasn't MSM news.

But alas. Defund the police, don't build the wall, and the "THING"? Yet things aren't going to plan in the good ol'd US of aye.

No worries though because Biden and Kamala have it covered and help is on the way.

Little River band - not bad were they!? Shorrock, Farnham.
Political opponents become criminals whilst real criminals become your mates. All of that mob looting and burning. We've seen this before.
What's really going on trial is the independence of the judiciary. And the idea that it's an individual facing charges not a whole group of "them" who are found guilty by their label and status in society, rather than by their actions.
If you go after those who deserve to be hung from the lampposts it'll cost you. Attack a small business and there will be nothing, it's lawless.
Why do we Not even know Who killed Ashli Babbitt?

I'm guessing we'd Know if she wasn't White -
Cuz there'd have been "Smoke In The City" til we Did know.

cowboy
mic, she made a cameo appearance by being the first attempt to climb through the breached doors to the Speakers Lobby. Security pulled the trigger. Would it actually matter who the person was?
I'm surprised she was the only one.

Need a video?
The Oath of Enlistment sworn by military personnel like Ashli Babbitt:

"I will obey the orders of the President of the United States..."

Looks like she did exactly that.
and thus, he is ultimately to blame for the insurrection and the deaths that occurred as a result of it.
It just gets too funny the more I read.

And along comes Jac rolling on the floor laughing

"The Oath of Enlistment sworn by military personnel like Ashli Babbitt:"

Christ all mighty, let me out of the vortex.

It's just too much for one man to bear or is that beer because words are like a missiles rolling on the floor laughing
r - VERY much like that, indeed.
I call it the 'Lynch the whistleblower tactic"
Nobody on the vast right that span from -this to that- is after lynching anybody.
Name of the officer is of course not important. Point about comparing to
the riots in the streets is naturally to put 6th in it's right perspective,
when msm don't.

Gotta understand also that this was a false flag "thing".
And the most eager q-anons took the bait.

O.P:
"To some it's called insurrection.
To others it's called a peaceful tour of the White House."

It is none of those.
Actually the Officer's name was mentioned once very early on in the story. Digging through press releases that day should uncover it again, not that it matters. It was a lawful shooting. A Restricted Area is a Restricted Area. The SCOTUS long ago authorized Deadly Force may be employed if the government deems it necessary under Title 50 USC (which of course was written by Congress). Deadly Force may also be employed to protect the person of the President and or those in the line of succession. Those chanting ;"hang Pence" did Ashley no favor when they let her go first.
Grandsiozzie, what video were you watching?

36:15 into the video I posted:
"Hang Mike Pence!"
"Hang Mike Pence!"
I have not watched any videos, sorry if I was supposed to Chat.
So what does that chant tell you then that I did not understand?
Took a look at 36:00 and forward.

100 people who is being pushed out saying this... ? that all you got?
Do you know what type of folks this was?
You think they have got much to do with the average Trump supporter
that was in the thousands on the outside Chat?
You reaalllyy think so..... ojj
"I have not watched any videos..."

Sorry, but you're not qualified to comment on this blog.

"My problem is, that we are so divided that we cannot seem to see...that both sides..are wrong."

Is this really the case, even friends and neighbours disagreeing with each other or more of disagreeing on forums, social media etc?
If so the USA is in dire times indeed.
Sure. I'll stay off your blogs from now on.

"If so the USA is in dire times indeed."

Luke... divided?
It's cracked open in several places.
Consider investing more time & effort into something before making another obviously wrong snap judgement. head banger
No, none of that disqualifies you.
However, your wrong snap judgement certainly
brings your decision process into question.
This is video is why, I no longer support Trump....he had to know this would happen..

I will reply more tomorrow..I have to get ready for work.
Widely reported by other news outlets but here is a link

It is reported:

The notes, which were taken by Donoghue, show Trump raising his now-familiar falsehoods about rampant voter fraud in Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan and Pennsylvania.

"We have an obligation to tell people that this was an illegal, corrupt election," Trump is quoted as saying.

On the call, Rosen, who took over at the Justice Department after Attorney General William Barr resigned, and Donoghue push back. They tell Trump "the DOJ can't and won't snap its fingers and change the outcome of the election, doesn't work that way," the notes say.

Trump responds: "Don't expect you to do that, just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the R Congressmen."

1-6-21 is quacking more like a reactionary coup d'état disguised as a populist movement.
