But I feel, that this is the wrong approach....soft gentle halters are needed for control, otherwise goatish mayhem results! (see above)...

In my opinion; goats should NOT be raced in the erratic manner shown in the Comboyne goat racing link above....
Firstly, it disrespects the goat...
Secondly, the goats have not been "broken in" and trained properly....
Thirdly proper harness, and means of control are not used, making this erratic racing dangerous for both goat, and human....
So, you see; there is a correct and incorrect way to "goat cart"....
The officer does not appear to see the funny side of this..............
