FLORIDA (The Borowitz Report)—In a potentially ominous development for the Florida governor, a new poll shows Ron DeSantis hemorrhaging support among voters who identify as opposed to dying.
According to the poll, DeSantis’s favorability numbers are plummeting among Floridians who describe themselves as “somewhat,” “very,” or “strongly” opposed to being dead.
Asked to name the issue most important to them, an overwhelming majority of anti-dying voters cited “continuing to exist,” with the economy and immigration placing a distant second and third.
Harland Dorrinson, an aide to the Governor, dismissed the poll numbers as “a distraction” and said that “this obsession with not dying is the kind of political correctness the people of Florida are tired of.”
“Governor DeSantis has had a very strong pro-dying message, and that’s not going to change,” the aide said.

I suppose the others are 'just dying' to support DeSantis.

Yeah, TX is not doing well either.
Both states have a backwards governor, which is not a coincidence.
They refuse to take the advice of pandemic scientists and thus,
the Covid-19 numbers are significantly rising in those states.
While there are some spikes in Florida and Texas, they're really not that high. The main stream media is using a tactic to make it appear greater than it really is. They're using percentages and not the actual case number occuring in either state. They're also not reporting the actual death rates and are using percentages again in order to scare you into neo-fascist mandates and to look to big government to "save you" while imprisoning you.
You should look up Operation Mockingbird and notice how nothing was actually done about it. It is still running.
I am glad our schools are open...and have been for over a year.
As far as face masks go..not a biggie..just wear them to school.
In the general public..we do not have the ability or resources to enforce wearing them.
