Did anyone tell you this for 20 years?

Ya think something like that ought to be public knowledge?

Feds were too busy stacking their ranks with communists to hear the chatter. I wish I had downloaded the clip where Comey was being interviewed and said frankly that he had been a communist and was not certain what he was now . As far as I know its not against the law to be the head fed and a communist , but shit common Clapper one to . Those bastards were working their merry little way up the ranks when the US was fighting communism . Pretty easy to see why southeast asia , Africa , middle east , central America fell to communists .
It was covered by both national and international news.
The CIA never informed the FBI that they had info on the two hijackers, and the BUSH administration stopped the CIA from releasing info to the FBI.

The disclosure that Jamie Gorelick, a member of the September 11 commission, was personally responsible for instituting a key obstacle to cooperation between law enforcement and intelligence operations before the terrorist attacks raises disturbing questions about the integrity of the commission itself. Ms. Gorelick should not be cross-examining witnesses; instead, she should be required to testify about her own behavior under oath. Specifically, commission members need to ask her about a 1995 directive she wrote that made it more difficult for the FBI to locate two of the September 11 hijackers who had already entered the country by the summer of 2001.

On Tuesday, Attorney General John Ashcroft declassified a four-page directive sent by Ms. Gorelick (the No. 2 official in the Clinton Justice Department) on March 4, 1995, to FBI Director Louis Freeh and Mary Jo White, the New York-based U.S. attorney investigating the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. In the memo, Ms. Gorelick ordered Mr. Freeh and Ms. White to follow information-sharing procedures that “go beyond what is legally required,” in order to avoid “any risk of creating an unwarranted appearance” that the Justice Department was using Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants, instead of ordinary criminal investigative procedures, in an effort to undermine the civil liberties of terrorism suspects.

At issue was the oft-noted wall of separation that prevented counterterrorism agents and federal prosecutors from communicating with one another prior to September 11. Information collected under special FISA warrants, which do not require a probable cause, was generally not to be shared with personnel responsible for enforcing federal criminal laws — where probable cause must be demonstrated for a warrant to be issued. As lawyers David Rivkin and Lee Casey noted on our Op-Ed page yesterday, the practical effect of the wall was that counterintelligence information was generally kept away from law enforcement personnel who were investigating al Qaeda activities. But Ms. Gorelick’s memo clearly indicated that the Clinton administration had decided as a matter of policy to go even beyond the law’s already stringent requirements in order to further choke off information sharing.

As Mr. Ashcroft noted during his testimony before the September 11 commission, all of this had a devastating effect into the investigation of al Qaeda operations in this country in the summer of 2001. For example, in late August, when the CIA told the FBI that Khalid Almidhar and Nawaf Alhazmi had entered the country, FBI investigators refused to permit criminal investigators with considerable knowledge about the most recent al Qaeda attack to join the manhunt. Also, a criminal search warrant to examine the computer of Zacarias Moussaoui, whose interest in flying aircraft had attracted attention, was rejected because FBI officials were afraid of breaching the wall.

Ms. Gorelick has been among the most partisan and aggressive Democratic panel members in questioning the anti-terror efforts of the Bush administration. The nation deserves a full accounting from Ms. Gorelick of why the Clinton administration felt it necessary to go the extra mile in order to hamper the capability of law enforcement and intelligence agents to talk to one another. If Ms. Gorelick fails to provide this, her actions would bring into serious doubt the credibility of the commission.

We don't have a government.

We have an enemy regime.

To your original response.

I'd been a student of history, mostly WWI and WWII, and wondered why, that since the end of WWII, we never did beat Communism / radical Islam like we did Mussolini, Tojo and Hitler.

So I started studying post WWII history and a trend became apparent. Whenever Leftists came into power in the USA, they'd go on a surrender rampage and unilaterally withdraw from one country or region after the next, allowing the Killing Fields to take place.

The Leftist press, which had been screaming for American withdrawal, suddenly fell silent after we did so, not caring about what happened to the populations we left behind.

I could only conclude that a good chunk of our government, media and other Institutions (see, e.g. Gramsci) had been taken over by traitors.

Even Jesus himself said that a house divided against itself cannot stand.
I personally saw Mohammed Atta and two others whose names escape me in the Lightouse Restaurant in Berryville, VA maybe 3 days before the hijacking. They came in around midnight and sat at a table with the owner, a Syrian who claimed to be a Christisan but was actually known locally as both a sleaze and a closet Muslim. The owner;s wife joined them and they jabbered away in some foreign tounge. I thought it was Arabic which I don't speak or understand. Several times while the men laughed the wife expressed horror and once left the area and went in back crying. I nursed my beer until closing time, went home and thought nothing of it. The men were still threre talking when I left.

After 9/11 the owner made a big show about how he was a Christian, claimed he was a Doctor in the mid East too, but our AMA test is 'slanted' against foreignors. He used to get totally blank credit or ATM cards delivered to the bar (a waitress there once showed me the contents of the boxes he had gotten that day, white plastic with mag strips on the back. Meanwhile the owner was growing notoroious for over charging, hitting on teenage girls that worked as bus girls, giving strong alcohol drinks to local women then trying to grope them or lure them into the kitchen when his wife was out, etc. He had also rented an absurdly expensive house on the East side of the Blue Ridge Mtns. and owed several months of rent or mortgage. He was also known to buy alcohol from sources not approved by the VA ABCand often to be out of food that was on the menu. He would buy TV dinners at the supermarket that matched his menu items then plop them in the microwave, dump it on a plate and pretend he had just cooked it as he served it to customers. Wasn't long before people stopped going in there.

He sold the place vut had over valued the books and the new owner sued, meanwhile his home's landlord got an eviction order. So 'Doc' wrote a bunch of bad checks, then skipped the state. Years later I heard his wife had died and he had gone back to Syria.

I had been working for the FBI (and others) as a special contracted investigator/researcher/representative the week I saw Atta in the Lighthouse, but the FBI held the identities of the hijackers close for a long time. I think it was like 5 or 6 months before a picture of Atta was released and I saw it for the first time. I recognized him and the 2 with him immediately and I contacted one of the 'if you know something say something' phone numbers about it, but no one cared and no one followed up on it so far as I know.

But it was Syria, not the Saudi Arabians that did 9/11. Friends of Putin is the way to view it.
