This is one of my all time favorite songs.

It's hard to believe today but this was an extremely popular song from the mid 50's. What makes it even more amazing is much of it isn't even in English.

This is believed to be the very first Rock and Roll song.

That's a great song master, I think I've heard it before but never knew the name or who did it. thumbs up

While technically not Rock & Roll, this song was extremely popular in 1955. I actually had a copy of this record on a 78 RPM disc. I have no clue what became of that record.
You're not gonna believe this but this song was so popular when it was released you could hear it playing on juke boxes everywhere

Here's another one a lot of old timers will probably remember.
The Happy Wanderer
This song was especially popular in the NYC neighborhood I grew up in known as "Germantown"

This has to be one of the greatest love songs from the 50's or any era for that matter. This was a huge hit for this fabulous group. Not exactly R&R but so what. If you've never heard this song before, you're in for a treat. I'd love to hear your opinion.
