The festive season.
The time for family and friends to get together for good food and company.The time of year when some men and women and even children, do things that sometimes even surprise themselves.
Some positive and some negative.
Some will embark on drinking binges to 'forget' and some will swear to stop bad habits and try to regain some 'control' of their lives.
All in all I've noticed that the festive time of the year affects people in different ways.
My thoughts and well wishes go out to all that are alone this festive season especially those folk that have permanently lost their family or friends for whatever possible reason.
I'm happy to say that I'm at home for the rest of this year and for me it's the best possible place to be at this time of year.
It's great to be alive and well.

Happy that I regained “some” control of my life. Accidents sometimes help. However, always strange lonely feeling at this “festive” time..
Anyway what “positives and negatives things some men and women” do at Christmas time?
Cindy's daily pitch about people dying in their thousands hasn't happened,so now the government has to come up with another plan to control the population.

Hoping to be able to get on a plane around Christmas again - I hope to split the time around Christmas between my family in Germany and my partner in Ireland.
Flight availability will be crucial this year.

The scenario you sketch for me can be interpreted by many as pure paradise yes?
I guess the smaller the city we reside in the more the desire for privacy and such. Here in PE we are in a semi similar situation with thousands of up country folk invading our space causing all types of problems. But wtf live goes on.
