Issues, issues, let me get you some tissues...
Pandemonium at CS this black Friday. Maybe people got caught up in the holiday spirit and emotions were running high. Complaints and spinoff blogs of deleted comments, banning and blogs that went poof in the night. Obviously, some people didn't have much to do.Things appear to have calmed down now.
I happened to be involved in a construction project yesterday that involved $4,000 in lumber to remake tables at the flying field. Not much sleep as I was up around 4:30am and got to the lumber store with 6 other guys who loaded a rented truck to move all the stuff to the county park.
About 20 volunteers on and off got nearly all the work done. We have a few benches to fabricate today and that's it for the next 10 years... All the structural lumber is pressure treated and painted. The table tops are of synthetic 1x6 boards that are rated for 25 years.
We removed a bunch of warped and rusty folding tables and 'more than doubled' the amount of setup tables.
