I lived in TN for 10 years, and every year was Tornadoes. Usually tornado goes through one area every year , and other places are safe, it has it’s path. I lived on Signal Mountain, Chattanooga and there was never tornado, but in South part of the city near Georgia boarder tornado was happening every year...I know how it sounds and what you have to do if it approaches but if you are on it’s way not much you can do other than escape from that area. Saw how all looks after tornado- it makes match sticks of house...blues uh oh doh

I was walking from friends house once just out of the blue the winds were picking up and just like that a few miles away tornado hit. I was young and remember it well. I've seen more strait line wind damage in tops of mountain areas then twisters. todays forecast will be strange 61 to freezing by am tomorrow.

This is something I could never comprehend, the building of houses out of timber in a high risk (tornadoes etc)area. I mean why not build with bricks and cement?confused

Luk your relative should be out of danger soon. If She is on east of the US and or east in Pa. Might be a little bumpy in the next 3 hrs.. True I seen the damage of those twisters and they claim over a 100 maybe among the lost.. I'm waiting for the winds there late as of now, was to start at 4pm now 11 after 4.

Luk ,I had wind damage last night my wind speed was toped at 25mph and a tree top a branch bounced on the roof and vibrated a 10ft piece aluminum fascia trim down.. I heard it.. With the tree being wet and then being frozen and the wind spiraling this can happen.. I was out early and set my saw horse up and I have a week of good weather.. It's dented also could beat it back with some wood and need some silicon to reset the 1 inch nails and add a few or call my friend and see if he has a new piece that would have no holes in so It could be nailed quick with 6 new nails and no old nail holes...

Small branch off the side of house 15ft away no bigger than a five year olds wrist but is every bit 60 ft in air
