Who Am I?...Do you ever ask yourself that Question

Who Am I?

Have you ever stopped and asked yourself that question?

When you see yourself who or what do you see? A mother, father, brother, sister. A friend, lover, companion. Do you see what others see? I try, but I struggle. Do you see how you feel? Most of the time no, what you see in your reflection is a physical sight, but what you feel is the reflection of your heart.

Who am I?

Are we defined by what and how others see and impact us?

In the depths of your soul do see yourself there alone? Probably not. I bet you see family, friends, loves (past and present). Can you take yourself for who you are? Does those that love you take you as you are?

Who am I?

I am me, nothing more, nothing less. Trying to make my path in this crazy world. Trying to improve and grow in my own happiness. Seeking myself, exploring the world around me. Asking questions within. But most of all, embracing all the beauty all around us. Sharing my heart with one, many; acquaintances and strangers. My heart is tender yet strong. My soul was lost and alone, now it has direction. Do you? Can you? See these things in yourself....

So stop and look....Stop and ask....Who Am I? I bet your answer may surprise you!!

Sometimes my thoughts are jumbled. Sometimes my thoughts question who I am. Sometimes my thoughts just flow. Thoughts and words...what are they...they are the windows to our soul. The photo albums in our mind. Thoughts and words when put together paint a picture of dreams, desires, past and present. They help keep visions of loved ones near and remind us of the reasons and ways we became who we are.

I have been broken. I have been mislead. I have been hurt. I have seen the ugliness. I have seen the love you found. I have seen me...seen me as what I have become...I am happy with me...will you take me as I am? Will you take you as you are?

I asked who I am once and concluded that I did not care. That more important is what I do. With such limited to time to do it in, I figured it made sense to have the most fun I could as long as possible.
