American style Chicha!

I did a blog last week about my desire to make rice pudding the conventional way.
The first comment was from Melody with a YouTube video of a no-bake recipe for a Venezuelan rice Chicha.

I tried a modified version 'American style Chicha' or maybe better described as Chatillion's Chicha. What's the difference?
The sugar was omitted. Low fat milk replaced the water. No ice cubes. Blender only, no whisking. Ginger and Cinnamon added.
Yes, it was nice. I'm on my 2nd cup and will pour the rest into paper cups and place into the freezer. I'm expecting they will make really nice frozen deserts.

Thanks for the idea Melody!!

They (whoever they is) say the proof is in the pudding. Or in this case, the proof is in the Chicha.

Actually, I'm going to drop a banana into the blender and see what that flavor is like!

Okay, banana and protein powder added to the mix... banana
I was interested in trying this when you said no sugar but when I saw that can of milk I realized that's way too much sugar for me but glad you enjoyed it. I love Chia pudding (it's too healthy for many people)in non-sweetened coconut milk. I would add liquid Stevia if I needed a sweet satisfaction)
Awwwwww... I am so happy that I could be of any help and that you liked it, Chat!... There are so many Venezuelan recipes that people don't know of and even a dish as simple as the Venezuelan arepas, won the best breakfast in the world!...

Venezuelan Chicha is absolutely delicious, but I am also super happy that you added your own twist to the recipe... I know those frozen cups will be to die for!... bouquet hug
