China warns of ‘worst consequences’
Beijing says nothing will stand in the way of “national reunification” with TaipeiChina has warned that no foreign powers or militaries will succeed in interfering with Taiwan, cautioning that any country attempting to offer military support to Taipei will face “consequences.”
“The Taiwan question is a purely internal affair of China,” Defense Ministry spokesman Senior Colonel Tan Kefei told reporters on Friday.
“No one and no force can stop” Beijing from a “complete national reunification” with Taiwan, Tan said, adding that anyone who tries to do so, “will suffer the worst consequences in the end.”
Tan said the Chinese military stood ready to thwart any outside interference on the matter. His statement came days after Australia’s defense minister, Peter Dutton, argued that it would be “inconceivable” for Canberra not to join with the US should Washington decide to defend Taiwan.

An air strike on Ukrainian military training facilities in the early hours of Sunday has resulted in the liquidation of “up to 180 foreign mercenaries,” the Russian Ministry of Defense has announced.
The strike, conducted with use of “high-precision long-range weapons,” targeted “the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” in the village of Starichi and at Yavoriv polygon.
China and Taiwan are locked in trade. Taiwan's economy is so good that China can't risk damaging it, otherwise it would not hold any benefit to China except for a military base and the additional maritime boundaries.
Yet it gets condoned in the Ukraine.
The world is blind.

Japan’s Ground Self-Defense Force (GSDF) launched three-week-long joint amphibious military drills with US troops stationed in Okinawa on Sunday. It stated that the exercise was aimed at deterring potential “aggression” from “competitors.”
Its Amphibious Rapid Deployment Brigade is to participate alongside the US’ 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, Japan’s Kyodo news agency reported. The exercise, which marks the first large-scale drill in the Indo-Pacific involving both units, will run through March 25, according to Marine Corps Captain Nicole Gallegos.
Commanding officer Colonel Michael Nakonieczny praised the forces as “two of the best trained and most prepared crisis response” units in the so-called ‘first island chain’. He said the primary purpose of the exercise was to “deter competitor and adversary aggression.”
The ‘first island chain’ refers to a chain of archipelagos encompassing Japan, Taiwan, the northern Philippines, Borneo, and the Kuril and Ryukyu Islands in the southwest to Russia’s Sakhalin Island and Kamchatka Peninsula in the northeast. The term has been used both by China and the US in their relevant foreign policy and military strategies.
The Senkaku islands – an uninhabited group northeast of Taiwan, in the East China Sea – also fall within that chain. The isles are currently administered by Japan but are considered by Beijing to be disputed territory.

The country’s finance minister confirmed that nearly $300 billion of Russia’s forex holdings have been seized
“We have a total amount of reserves of about $640 billion, about $300 billion of reserves are now in a state in which we cannot use them,” he said in an interview with state TV channel Rossiya 1 on Sunday.
The minister added that the Western allies were putting pressure on China to limit trade relations with Russia to obstruct the Kremlin’s access to national reserves held in Chinese yuan.

Russia had more than 2,000 tons of gold at the end of January, data from the International Monetary Fund shows. This accounts for just over 20% of the country’s reserves and makes Russia the fifth-biggest sovereign gold owner globally.
Ankara and Moscow can use the “dollar, euro, ruble, gold and yuan in trade,” Erdogan said in an hour-long telephone conversation with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, according to the TV channel.

Beautiful Austria and not able to watch TV stations you like and have your independence taken away.
Why,, even the Imaans is the Mosques in Ukraine are saying those who are Muslim and pro-Russian should throw their hats on the ground.
It will take us all out and it would take a MAD MAN to do it. We have that scenario right now and not one of those 'protectors' are coming to aid UKRAIANE ~ step stop Moldova
We have taken in a huge amount and it will be well over a thousand soon from Ukraine.
Meanwhile the Russian Embassy in Dublin South is giving out about people outside protesting.
They have been refused planning permission to build a huge building with underground areas and vast
apartment type building beside that. For what ?
That is why it has been turned down. We are a strategically placed Neutral country but our next stop to the left [West of Ireland] is US
US did promise full support, stopping short of getting involved in the fighting. They have since been careful to muddy the waters on this stance, rightly so. And have displayed their intention to defend against any military interference by China. Their defence agreement with Taiwan differs from that with Ukraine, which probably does allow military action.
China did retreat but not because they got scared. It's just cause they're not ready yet. There's a significant difference.
Here's a prophecy: if Russia make it relatively well with the sanctions imposed on it, China will snap at Taiwan within a decade.
USA bet on the wrong side back in 1940s. They chose to support a losing corrupt GMD. But that's the bed they chose to lie in - 30+ years of dictatorship under Jiang Jieshi.
Maintaining the stalemate is yhe optimal approach, but far from permanent.
I don't purport to have the answers but joking aside, seriously , Putin is unhinged, He is acting like a PAriah and won't stop. IF he gets away with Ukraine what next ?
Putin will not advance beyond Ukraine.
anyone who does not understand this logic is not very bright. Ukraine was/is apply also as a Nato member then Russia would have enemy nuclear missiles right ion its doorstep. Any sane country would prevent that. Ukraine 'as is' poses no threat.
If the Starlink system was completed at this time Nato would have stopped Putin - at a price.
Just my opinion.

Imports from China are huge and we of course export to them and our relations have improved with them
as we are now teaching them to train horses to become Racing Horses as this is something we have a good name for, our Horses, and we also [just saying ] have a good relationship with Saudi regarding our horses but that is where It ends I feel.
If it were Trump, I think he would be more vocal and what Putin calls 'manly ' It has been said he smells fear and yes, I think Biden is not up for the job.
Warnings are hollow when there have been many from U.S. and no response. Surely some next move, there won't be a Nuclear War, that is bluff. Unless Putin has lost the plot.
Am praying that Putin has seen he underestimated the temerity and loyalty to their country of the Ukranians and their spirit. It is time for talks and hopefully a deal will be struck. I hope so.
