Fiery crash on the highway...

I'm surprised to see the clarity of highway cameras. In the video below a car loses control entering a highway and slams into a box truck heading for an overpass. The truck hits the rail that retains the vehicle from going over the edge but the bursts into flames (like a Hollywood movie) billowing black smoke until (about 8 minutes later) the emergency fire truck arrives to cool things down.

I watched that video too, the 2 minute version made it onto headlines everywhere, very spectacular but there was little beyond the spectacle, and the comment that the driver of the white car was "impaired". Drunk? Suicidal? The video I saw lasted only long enough to see the driver finally getting out of the truck after a worryingly long time, and seeming to be okay. Do you have any more follow-up detail?
