LADIES SKIN TIGHT LEGGINGS

Have you noticed this fashion that mainly young ladies have adopted. Skin tight leggings that look as though they have been sprayed on. How do they have the nerve to walk the streets looking as though they are naked from the waist down. It does not hide the cellulite on legs that have not seen any exercise for years. Are they asking for trouble from the opposite sex? I have to shield my eyes and look away. Have they no thought for other people? Should they be banned or an age limit be put on the purchase of these items. Why not just spray paint on your lower half and shave off any visible hair?

uh oh confused

Merlot..... I don't suppose you've noticed any such fashion. Perhaps you're too busy with that inflatable doll.
grin
You should ( maybe not ) see what just popped into my inbox. A total floor show.
I suppose these leggings have replaced the mini skirts which were so popular and fashionable. I prefer the skirts. I insist on my crown affair cheerleaders wearing them.
wow cheering cheering
I wear skin tight leggings as well as skin tight skimpy shorts for working out at the gym

I don't see what the problem is
These leggings are ok for the gym, but not walking around town. It indicates whether a person has good or bad taste.
I power walk to the gym in my attire

Saturdays after I finish my gym session I go to a huge shopping complex in my attire

Many of us do..
Surely, after a gym session, you would shower and put fresh clothes on. There's no need to wear the same sweaty gear round the shops.
confused
Yes of course I bloody shower I have a fresh set of gym clothes because I walk every where

I dress for me not for anyone else
Great news that you shower and change. That's the opportunity to put decent clothes on. Do you have normal clothes? Or is it difficult to decide what to wear?
Thanks for comments. Some people wear certain clothes to get noticed. The garments they wear reflect whether they have taste or not. Wearing indecent clothing such as skin tight leggings in public places is a good indication of that person's mentality. It's difficult for the public to avoid noticing such flaunting of the female anatomy and they shouldn't have to walk round with their eyes closed.
sigh uh oh
Here you go chrome im sure this is more to your liking

People have the right to wear what they want. But ladies wearing leggings and older gents wearing cowboy hats, where does it all end? laugh

This is my outfit in my exercise. I only wear it whenever I go to the gym. But I never go around shopping or anything.
I do know what you're saying. You mentioned about people wearing tight leggings with their cellulite and stomach bulging out. A very unpleasant to look at. Having said that, there's no law against wearing such a weird outfit.

Anyways I love looking at beautiful bodies in a very attractive outfit.
Crown, sorry I posted three of my own pictures on your Afterlife blog. Please can you delete them?

Thanks
Have you now joined a gym?

When you came back you said you're not into gyms..You work out t home

I put on jacket before I go out. This was in Las Vegas last month going to the gym from our room.

Last summer on my way to the lakes with my shorts and my swimsuit inside. I do a lot of swimming in summer.
Yes, as soon as the gym we're opened, last summer. I still have my treadmill and stationary bike but I prefer going to the gym. I normally have my sauna, then swim after that.

Besides the weights and other athletic equipments are far more enticing which I don't have at home.
LJ....... Thanks for the double post. One would have been sufficient. You look great, if you don't mind me saying. I'm sure you would look good in anything.
Sometimes when I see some young people wearing very tight fitting clothes, and they don't look appropriate due to their shape, I wonder if their mother should help out and give them some advice about what looks right. It's difficult to try and say the right thing when it comes to fashion.
I never ever said I'm not into gyms. I've been a member of gyms since I was in Europe and US.

See what happened was I gained a lot of weight eating fondue, croissants and pasta in Switzerland. My job gave and paid one hour every day to exercise. I met Cindy Reynolds, a former assistant of Jane Fonda in the US with her aerobics. We became friends. Since then, gym is where I always exercised at.

I only bought my treadmill during the covid.
I hear you Crown and you have the right to notice and feel quite unpleasant about it. My ex husband said the same thing all the time. I mean appreciate and or descent clothes are nice to look at.

You say what you feel and there's nothing wrong about that. I don't look at them really but if I were their mother, I'd definitely say something to that effect. I have big kids, they were so toned and fit until they had children. They're trying to lose weight. They exercise but very difficult for them. And I don't think they ever dress up with their stomach bulging out.
LJ....... I think simple summer dresses in thin light coloured cotton with a low neck line and slightly in at the waist, possibly tied, are always attractive and very feminine.
LJ...... Yes. We seem to agree. Whenever I go out, I am always concerned that I either dress the best casually I can, or the smartest I can achieve. It's always a bit of a dilemma sometimes, because of the choice I have. Stupid really I know, and then I go and wear something that maybe I've had ages, but always feel happy in.
dunno
Sometimes a woman might dress inappropriately because she asks a friend or partner how she looks in a certain piece of clothing. There can be only outcome in that situation and it may not be the best especially when she says "be honest now". doh laugh
Bassador ...... That's ok. It's your choice. Whatever you feel happy in. But if you ever want to impress another person, I feel sure you would consider what they may wish to see. Or you may not care about them sufficiently, and so they are not worthy of your attention.
I think the OP was specifically talking about people who are wearing very tight clothes even if their stomach are bulging out and cellulites are sticking out.

I agree with the OP.
It's not quite unpleasant for anyone to look at, but there's no law against dressing inappropriately unless it falls on the "indecent exposure " law.

While I always dress whatever it pleases me, I do care what others think and I know when people complement how I dress up because they say so specially my children.
May be you specially looking for these ladies with skin tight leggings and cellulite legs??? Lol...rolling on the floor laughing
Any person who is interested in seeing me would accept my individuality. What I choose to wear when I go out to the shops is appropriate as is what I choose to wear when I go to the office or the theatre. But, the style is mine and not someone else's.
I think being able to choose what one wants is part of our basic freedom. To care that we dress appropriately is an inherent part of who are as we look at ourselves and how others look at us (not all).

Our social standing is very much dictated by those who design our fashion in general. The early development of our civilized world, clothing and apparels have always been a very large scale industry. Fast forward and here we are in world that is so fashion conscious (or big names as Lauren, Gucci, etc) wouldn't be billionaires. Anyways my point is, without digressing from the OP, is dressing quite attractively is a choice. Or simply dressing without regard to others as well.

Bottom line for me, I appreciate a good and decent way of dressing up, while I couldn't care less for those who are slob.
I love Nike for my shoes and leggings. I love Lauren and Armani for my suits. Jacobs and guess for my casuals.

Yep fashion is weird sometimes Crown. But it's a part of our lives.
And I'm sure you receive a lot of admiring looks. Not just for your level of fitness but also your discipline. Any criticism is a mask for envy.
LJ....... I started my working life in Government department. I always wore shirts ties jackets or suits. There were great fashions at time and linked to the music scene. I've seen about every possible fashion and experimented with some. I've never lost that awareness of being presentable, and enjoy clothes and always happy to give an opinion if asked. I know if something looks right. There is a renaissance in certain clothes and I know I've been there before. Anything that's quality always returns. That's why famous labels from the past are sought
after.
A true friend would comment if they thought you were wearing something that didn't look right, and to save you any embarrassment.
So you are completely wrong, and would be no use as a friend.
-That's true and why good friends and trust are such a hard thing to find these days!-

That's your own need for acceptance and approval talking. It's selfish. A real friend would be proud of her friend's self-confidence and fearless indivuality.
Exactly!

Only if asked, do I give my opinion, or advice.

And my friends appreciate that.
They can at least be themselves in my presence
What about youself? Do you go around wearing the attire in question? I'm a rather curious fella.
