THE MEANING OF LIFE

What should be the most important question ever asked is, What is the meaning of life?
Why are we here? Who put us here? What put us here? Is there any plan for our existence? What is the point of all the species of creatures that have existed on our planet. From Dinosaurs to modern day humans. Why the predatory nature of animals. The savagery. The wars between people. The billions of stars and planets that exist but are uninhabitable.
You could say that the whole universe is a kind of chaos. Are we an experiment put here to see how we cope?
I know that I think a great deal about this dilemma we are in, but can see no real sensible logical reason why this whole existence came to be.
Wouldn't it have been better not to have started this world and no one would ever have experienced the drama that has unfolded since it's beginning? Or is there a serious plan behind the whole conception?

some work calling me.. cheers wave
Teen. Thanks I hope your day is great and perhaps one day you will research Indian cookery and blog some recipes. Teen the chef would be very readable. I would buy your book.

But what's the purpose of maintaining this planet and it's inhabitants? If it didn't exist nothing would be lost unless there is some plan for it all. If there's a plan, what logic could be behind it?
Everything has an instinct for survival. So the intention is for all creatures to stick around. Why does nature want survival? If everything dies out, so what?
Did our DNA put itself together? Were we put here by some other worldly being that gave us our genetic code? Were they themselves the result of an overall plan? How did the big bang that scientists believe kicked everything off come about?
No one and nothing is maintaining this planet. Life has emerged (through spontaneous chemical reactions etc) and evolved to thrive on this planet and under its conditions. Basically, it's life that has adapted to the planet and not the planet to life.

Certainly, it could be that the conditions on other planets preclude life as we know it or in some other form, but that does not mean that this planet was created specifically to support life or us for that matter. Planet earth is the way it is because the laws of physics allow for such an eventuality, and the way this planet is happens to support life.

We know one thing for certain: the probability of life emerging on a planet is not zero. We know that because we are here. Now, lets take a worse case scenario. Lets assume that the probability of life emerging on a planet (any planet) to be very small. Given that there are so many planets in the universe of all shapes and sizes, then we can safely state that the chances of life emerging on some planet somewhere in the universe are very good. And guess what? It did right here on Earth. As a result, you and I are able to have a conversation about it.

Now, tell me: isn't this kinda of stuff the only thing more exciting than a massive pair of human mammaries?
Crown, I stopped finding the logic of those I can't answer.

Having said that, it doesn't stop me from enjoying and be happy with what's around me.

My questions, just like you, wouldn't be answered because of our limited capacity to do so.

Heck if no one can really explain how this universe first came about, but we can question it? There is my answer, there is God, but then whoo created Him? That's another question. Then, why is our brain alone so complicated?

Here's another one, how can our brain make us remember our dreams that seems so real until we wake up?

In the dreams, I see places and people I've never seen before? How can that be possible at all?

Anyways a very good blog and I wish there's aan answer that can quite satisfy me.

Nonetheless. Would you rather you weren't here?

Yes, chances are overwhelmingly that our DNA has come about by itself. There is a bacterium (mycoplasma mycoides) who has only 525 genes apparently. That's really simple. It is one of the simplest know forms of life today. The thing about it is that it is proof that life does not need a complex DNA molecule to be viable. We can therefore extrapolate that simple DNA molecules emerged spontaneously earlier on, and these eventually evolved into more complex ones as life became more complex. Certainly, we need more evidence to proclaim that as an unassailable scientific fact, so expect some tweaks along the way; however, this explanation is far more likely than any other non-scientific explanation for the emergence of DNA out there.

I wont elaborate but we could say that the big bang was triggered by what are known quantum fluctuations. Nothing is static at the subatomic level, even nothing itself. There's energy in nothing, for example. Good to point out that this is a work in progress and we don't have all the pieces of the puzzle, but we'll get there.
It will not be answered because you've given up looking for the answer already. What if Alexander Fleming or Albert Einstein had the same attitude as you? Where would humanity be today?
Isn't it magical that about 100 years or so ago, no one ever thought we can communicate with each other in a fraction of seconds now? That we can share our ideas so fast that wasn't thought of long ago?

The first time I was on the plane, I thank God for all that we have, life and everything that comes with it. I promised, I will do my best to be good to all because life is a journey of many surprises and yet, it seems to me, a very short time.
I know I can't make it any clearer than what I have attained and completely happy with it. I am not saying, that those who want to keep trying will have to stop on my account.
That's one thing I recognize, my limitations doesn't compel others to stop.

No whether half or more of the world's population opt to be like me, doesn't make the likes of Musk, Einstein, stop just because I do.
Yes it will because there are so many that are gifted with the ability to better than me.
LJ....... Hi. wave Am I glad of this life you ask. That is something I would answer only in private. The question of the blog I know is difficult for us all to answer with our limited knowledge, but somewhere there is an explanation and someone will eventually hit on the reason for everything. Doesn't stop the questions being asked.
Yes Crown it's possible it will all come to light.

I don't dwell anymore on things my mind can't solve. However, I don't stop learning about many things. I have learned more in my interactions in here than before the web. I used to read books a lot. Now I simply Google everything. Wiki also provides information on almost everything we need to know. But the same fundamental questions like the solar system, the source of the original life, even Neil Tyson deGrazie, a quantum physicist nor Stephen Hawking couldn't offer a simple explanation. On my profile. I explained all that as far as my understanding is concerned.

But a most intriguing and challenging questions Crown. Let me know if you find any good answers. Meantime am still reading all the inscriptions and related topics on King Pacal's sarcophagus.

Thanks for all your contributions on my quest to keep learning. cheers
That's right!
The majority of us WANT to know all the above questions!

Many are hungry for such knowledge.

I have been all my life until I found the answers
Hi everybody wave

Very interesting blog and questions, Crown.

I could answer with one line - as well as each individual question.

But... I don't see it appropriate here, on a dating site.

All I can say is that we were born with all our memory erased.
But, it is our task to find out WHERE we come from, WHY, by WHOM and so on...

At least Crown, you are inquisitive, judging by all your previous blogs related to life. thumbs up

Seek and you shall find..

I wish I could share what I know...sigh
What about meditation, Lindsy?
The answers lie within ourselves.

But, if you have stopped searching, then the answers won't come.dunno
-daniela, lindsy

The only real way of answering such questions is science. Hard work alright but nothing else can provide us with a satisfactory answer. Encourage whoever you come across to take up science. The more people we throw at a problem, the higher the chances of finding a solution.

Feel free to share. As you know, I am not inclined to accept much else other than equations and theory backed by observation, but many other folk on here enjoy other forms of 'proof'.
Thanks Ten.

I do. One of my grandson hopefully be interested in it. One is already a nurse and studying to be a doctor. One is showing interest in either astronomy or AI. But I will. I have five grandsons. Two granddaughters.
LJ.........Hi again Cosmic lady, star woman.
If you look and consider stars that come to the end of their existence. A super nova when the star finally ends it's life and explodes. This apparently occurs twice in 100 years in a particular galaxy. This is beneficial to the galaxy and us because it releases the particles or elements required for life and from which we are made. I know this doesn't answer anything, but found it interesting. When you consider everything that happens in our universe, then it can all help in trying to discover more of how we all fit in and maybe the final answer.
Thanks Crown. I will look into it and let's see what we can uncover Captain.

Did I mention, if I were younger and or perhaps live longer than the average, I'd delve into Astronomy or AI.
The more I think about our situation, the more I feel that there must have been a plan for our existence. When I look at the human race and our intelligence compared to any other species. Why did we acquire a superior brain and find it in our bodies. Why didn't it appear in an elephant or horse or any other creature? It would have been no use to them, so it was designed solely for us.
Yes, it's amazing how the Bible says: "We're created in the image of God."

Now have you ever questioned your dreams? The mechanics as to why it's possible?
I can see that my carefully crafted answers to your questions have had the intended effect.

mumbling

This has always puzzled me though: why do we find it so hard to accept that we not above nature in any way? That we are simply an animal just like any other? What is so bad about cows, dogs, chimp, bonobos etc that we want to distance ourselves from them as much as possible? Why do we want to believe that we're special in some sort of way, essentially, when it's amply clear that we absolutely are not?
Ten, nothing to do with science whatsoever!!!

There's no point in I discussing about the universe, dimensions, alternate realities, other planes of existence, parallel planes of existence etc etc ...
And about living in a simulated reality...
As I would be wasting my time here.

However, those who maybe interested are free to contact me personally
How strange that my only comment that is relevant to the above topic gets ignored by the OP???

Anyway... I shall leave you be! wave
What I've read from different sources over the years has led me to believe that all life on this planet arrived in Ice Comets in the form of microbes in millions of varieties.
In the beginning the earth was a steaming mass of molten lava and acid, but as it calmed down these microbes began to survive.

This planet was the only one we know of that was able to sustain life because give or take 10 degrees C might not suit life.

The Ice Comets apparently came from the extremities of our Galaxy and would have been colliding with lots of planets.

If you look at all animals, fish, insects and humans, the majority have similar features such as 1 head, 1 body, 2 eyes, 2 ears, legs, arms, wings, fins etc. Even down to 1 nose with 2 openings. Internally too, many similarities. Which means that almost everything probably came from the same source and could be on other planets.

I haven't mentioned Plants, that's another story. We (the above) are dependant on Plants so there must be a link.

There could be planets outside our galaxy that received the same Comets and were able to sustain life.

The big question is why are humans so intelligent while no other species can do much more than eat. And why is there no trace of human remains before 250,000 years ago.

Look at the many varieties in every species. Why only one in Humans. We are told that we all probably originated in Africa.

Remember too that evolution means only natural selection or mutation, not generational genetic enhancement. The Giraffe is a good example of this. So we didn't evolve from monkeys.

Bottom line is where did we come from and when did we begin life on Earth. If we were always here then where is the evidence.

If anything we arrived from another planet and there were no humans here before us, just varieties of ape, Neanderthals et al.
I think is happening Dan, isn't because you're ignored, but that the substance of what you'd share is, as you mentioned only discussed in private.
Personally I think there's not a measure of inappropriateness on here as far are these discussions are concerned. Our topics are hardly related to dating. At least, 99 percent of my blogs has nothing to do with it.

But I wish that you'd elaborate on here for me to learn.

In the meantime, even I can't quite put any parallel worlds into use or purpose since I can't relate into any of them with me as an integral part of those worlds.

I have read on one of the synchronizity topics that "the teacher will appear when the student is ready"

Now that is something I'm so curious as to how I can make myself ready. Do the knowledge would implode in me.
I have no qualms on anything you said, still it doesn't touch any of the origin of the origin.

Science create big bang as an immediate beginning, but what's before the big bang?
You're right, Lindsy, "when the student is ready the Master appears"

When I saw the title of this blog, I thought that Crown was ready, judging by all his recent blogs which are, in a way, related to each other.

However, I can see he's not ready for the answers, or the truth.

I also pointed out in my comment that I could answer in ONE LINE!

For specific answers to the questions, I would have to do it privately.
I think we're ready or not, we can definitely ask these questions for the exercise of our minds. I'm a very curious person, wanting to know everything. Sometimes it takes time for me to process every single line of thought about these very simple but fundamental questions.

Ie, our brain is a very complex matter. Why are we only able to use about a dmall percentage and not the whole amount?
Even science hasn't come up with a simple answer yet.
That wouldn't solve the conundrum though. If life got here in ice comets in some form or another, then how did it begin wherever it originated?
That's exactly my question before this post Ten.
Well this all very good that we are exercising our main possession on this planet. Our brain. No other creature does it, because they exist just to eat, drink reproduce and avoid death. We have been given this organ to think and plan and overcome the obstacles that come in our way. I realise now that there is a plan for us and feel that once we have achieved a certain level of intelligence, then all will be revealed. There is a deliberate method in all this to challenge the human race and in the meantime the dark secret of our true origin is concealed.
I am most convinced, there's truth in everything that happens Crown. I hope it's going to be revealed for all to see.
But, Lindsy, it HAS been revealed ....for all to see but ...only a few have seen beyond and joined the dots.

The answers are there, in front of our eyes.
D4n.........If you posses the answer to the meaning of life, then it must just be your opinion. If you were 100% certain of the answer you would not keep it to yourself.
That's right!
I share it with a few selected friends...not on a public site, but here, in person...
Or private emails.

And I'm not the only one who has the answers.
Maybe someone will come forward.???

In fact, my profile says it all.
Wow I must have typed a thousand words in response to your book, line dancing and building spaceship and pooof, disappeared just because someone called me.

Geesh..
Hopefully, Lee will join us?
He and I are on the same page
