Half listening to something on TV just a few weeks ago, only caught the ending where a man spoke about when the body dies, after the last breath a certain amount of weight departs the body, right away ... he went on to say, it's the soul departing.
Because I'm fascinated about the truth in the after life, souls & etc....
I done a little research of the possibility of what I heard, being truth... turns out it is, and where some weight loss is instant, others can take up to a minute for the soul/weight to depart.
Wonder what's that all about?
I also read when an animal dies, there is no weight loss....
meaning? only human's have souls
Well, there goes the theory we can be recreated in the form of animals....
I thank God for that
Anyways, bodily fluid gas and what ever are not the cause for the weight loss, so if not the soul departing what other explanation can it be
For now, I stick to it being the soul
On the basis that we don't know if the soul has weight I will keep an open mind.
Even our breath has weight, just look at the trees around us.

An open mind is good enough for me but if you're referring to the weight being ones breath, well wouldn't animals lose the weight as well

if the soul is such a light weight it might explain the dead weight as well when a body dies.
