The US Department of State has recently issued a Travel Advisory for the United Kingdom
Is it safe from terrorism anywhere in the United Kingdom? I hope the UK is one day safe to travel in again. I have temporarily halted my travel plans there for now."Exercise increased caution in the United Kingdom due to terrorism.
Country Summary: Terrorist groups continue plotting possible attacks in the United Kingdom. Terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist locations, transportation hubs, markets/shopping malls, local government facilities, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, parks, major sporting and cultural events, educational institutions, airports, and other public areas."
i thought they were civilized in the United Kingdom.

I have wanted to visit the U.K. for awhile now but i am reluctant to visit there, particularly after learning what our state departments is saying about terrorism problems there in tourist locations as well as elsewhere.
I imagine I would be paranoid and worried about bodily harm cause I would definitely stand out as solo tourist because of what I wear, my backpack and camera gear I planned to take with me.
