The US Department of State has recently issued a Travel Advisory for the United Kingdom

Is it safe from terrorism anywhere in the United Kingdom? I hope the UK is one day safe to travel in again. I have temporarily halted my travel plans there for now. crying

"Exercise increased caution in the United Kingdom due to terrorism.

Country Summary: Terrorist groups continue plotting possible attacks in the United Kingdom. Terrorists may attack with little or no warning, targeting tourist locations, transportation hubs, markets/shopping malls, local government facilities, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of worship, parks, major sporting and cultural events, educational institutions, airports, and other public areas."

Chris perhaps some are and some aren't. Much like anywhere else, they're as vulnerable as we are. The question is, how do they handle it? Would it be any different than we do?
I have never been paranoid anywhere in the usa and I have long ceased carrying a personal protection device but I seldom visit areas controlled by democrats anymore here.

I have wanted to visit the U.K. for awhile now but i am reluctant to visit there, particularly after learning what our state departments is saying about terrorism problems there in tourist locations as well as elsewhere.

I imagine I would be paranoid and worried about bodily harm cause I would definitely stand out as solo tourist because of what I wear, my backpack and camera gear I planned to take with me.

State department reports:

If you decide to travel to the United Kingdom:

-- Read the Department of State’s COVID-19 page before planning any international travel, and read the Embassy's COVID-19 page for country-specific COVID-19 information.
-- Be aware of your surroundings when traveling to tourist locations and crowded public venues.

-- Follow the instructions of local authorities.

-- Monitor local media for breaking events and adjust your plans based on new information.

-- Enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to receive Alerts and make it easier to locate you in an emergency.

-- Follow the Department of State on Facebook and Twitter.

-- Review the Country Security Report for the United Kingdom.

-- Prepare a contingency plan for emergency situations. Review the Traveler’s Checklist.
Yep I will check how safe it is to travel before I book my plans.
