The Hawk
Damn hawk in my community that really wants to eat my 3 lb Chi. It swoops down to face me standing over Bella and when I turn around the Hawk is hanging still in the air right behind my back. I scoop the dog up from the ground in between my legs and yell. My voice sends the bird flying away.Now I walk over Bella when she needs to do her business which annoys her but I'm scared not to. The bird must have been in the trees because I can see them in the air but this one just swooped into my vision from not far away. Can't tell you how fast my heart was beating and now how extra cautious I am. I wish I could train her to use a potty pad in the house but at 17 she is not much interested in learning something new and of course she was totally UNaware of her danger.
