Time and Life...and God.

They are so closely intertwined that we cannot do without either one. A new day and week are just around the corner, but will Life this week be better than it was last week? Will Time slow down for us to savour the simple, beautiful things that Life has to offer, or will it rush by filled with the horrors of hatred and war?

God never intended for our Life and Time on this planet to be "short, and full of strife", but mankind seems to prefer it that way. We've made, and continue to make, such bad choices that the little good that we do becomes dwarfed by the shadow of our errors.

Perhaps we could resolve to seek God and seek out more of the simple, beautiful things, both on here (amid the politics, etc) and in our 'off-line' life...starting again with this new week. Time and Life have been granted to us to enjoy, multiply and share God's blessings regardless of who we are, what we look like, where we live, how we communicate and even why we think we exist.

Let's not allow the 'wars' of this world make us forget how to value the Time and Life...and God, that we still have.

Have a Happy Sunday.heart wings angel2

Hi Lovely Didi

My reason for being 'un religious' is because, if there was such a massively all-forgiving, all 'heavenly' person that lots of people worship (God)....... Well, I don't think this God really does much does he?laugh

Look at the state of the planet and human race!

If there was a real God, would he allow so much suffering to carry on within the human race?

God is an illusion that good-hearted people use to convince themselves that life is better than it actually is!

Just my stupid opinion! hug
Avocet, I respect your opinion. As for your comment about God 'allowing' suffering, the answers that you seek would come from Biblical research, as well as a deep consideration of the "privilege of choice"/'free will' that we wield within and upon this world.
As the most powerful superior earthly beings among God's creations, we have a lot to be blamed for. professor
Seems to me THE TIME God mostly exists is when people are looking for someone to blame, yet when he should be thanked, he ceases to exist a tall confused dunno
