Was King Edward VIII a good king or a traitor ?
I read he was a fashion setter for men because of celebrity and being single but ruled for less than a year until he abdicated the throne in order to marry his lover, Wallis Simpson, and then he became the Duke of Windsor.At some point I read he may have passed information to Germany and encouraged the Nazis to bomb Britain. Can something like this happen again today.
Should all heads of Monarchies be so trustworthy and be like Edward VIII? I am amazed today that Monarchs the world over are rich and live in splendor while their subjects live in meager existence adoring the royalty.
