Too heck with a recession, we need a depresion!

People who are honest, hard working and trying are struggling to pay bills. A recession will hurt them and seniors. But, the way of corporate America and lazy snowflakes..I wish we would get a depression.
Why? Examples. Tenants boy..had a good job working along side his girl friend. Tenant said their boss was so pleased, training them to be managers. Yesterday he told me if I needed labor, his son is not working.dunno confused Oh well..guess THAT job was too much for him too.
Neighbor wanted to turn lawn care biz over to his son. Son whining too much for him alone. And dad had to go do half the work the son was SUPPOSED to be doing. Told son if he got up before noon, might get work done. So rescinding offer. Dad is up every day by 5:30 and on the road til 7 or 8 pm.
Tenant got sign for letter from big oil/gas company. It had been started by one man. Super good guy. Now his kids run the supply part plus the 3 convenience/gas stations and the laundromat. Letter says they will no longer supplu tenants propane because he doesnt use enough every winter. Gee, guess it costs too much to drive truck out 10 miles for 1000 gallons or so.
Frontier phone. My bill is two pages of confusion. Charge to run service truck, charge for this, taxes at least $12 for everything the state, feds and county can think of. Charge for internet that uses copper lines that are bad ever time it rains. Promise of 5mb and lucky if get 3. I like my landline and dish cant reach signal on my farm. Frontier has rep for poor quality and service. So now got notice that I have to do on line billing or they will add $2.99 to my bill.
The gall. I dont do on line. Neighbors dont even have computers nor internet.
I can pay $21 when I need to add units on my pre-paid Tracfone. Get 300 or so call, 300 data and 300 SMS. Pay a buck state tax and nothing more.
My dumpster adds fuel charge. This month is $24. At least they are up front.
Try to watch antenna TV and the news half is 10 minutes with luck out of the 30. Rest is ads. Mostly drugs.
Walmart thinks their ugly clothes should be the prices of department stores. Oil barons are gouging.
People dont want to work unless they get $20 and hour and dont do the job anyway.
Wages go up...prices go up. Companies wont cut into their profits.
This country needs a good azz kicking.very mad

Good morning K.

This administration is identified by "up"
Price on everything went up. What a joke my dear.
Well the average IQ rating in the White House must have gone up enormously when they took over. smile
rolling on the floor laughing laugh I get it Marm. Yes indeed at the expense of the common man.

Note: democrats put a block on social media's usage by anyone complaining about it. Specially prime time journalists the likes of Tomi Loren.rolling on the floor laughing
What rascals they are, lindsy. mumbling
At least we can laugh about it but when the nitty-gritty is spilled out, I'm sure blood shed follows.
People are a lot more hard workong than they used to be but its what they actually do and the way they spend their money that's at it issue. We do need depression first and foremost to collapse the property market destroy the land barons and give youth a chance to spend their money on something other than video games and inflated house prices. There are too many parasitic rent-seekers creaming off posterity's ability to make investments.
Government likes to rule except where they should. People are being offered super prices for their houses by flippers and companies. Then the owner finds out they cant afford another dwelling. Meanwhile the flippers does some work and sells the house for a huge profit. The companies turns it into a rental. So people who need a home cant afford to buy. But, government has no issue with that. They yap about affordable housing which ends up a multi unit for subsidized and if people dont qualify, too bad. Of course, housing must be provided for illegals.
I could sell my farm for mega bucks. And I say, but then I would be homeless.
Most of the boomers are still working because they cant afford to retire. And they were taught an honest days work for an honest days pay. That has gone the way of the Dodo bird. Now the employer wants to pay the lowest wage and demand the most work. The workers think they should get high wages and spend their time on their phones and get 4 day work weeks. And many of the younger think they should be given a universal paycheck, because working is boring, demeaning and silly.
China figured it out. Give your young paychecks. Fill the stores with stuff to spend it on. Build clubs to party in. And then no fear of rebellion because the young dont want to lose it all.
I watch peoples purchasing habits. They crab about prices and spend it anyway. I remember when I checked at grocery, people come through with food stamps and buy out of season, top of the line or junk foods. One young woman came through and I wanted to thank her. A cart full of basics, bags of rice, flour, beans, pasta, canned goods. There was not ONE thing in that cart of junk. I thought she was who the program was made for. Not to buy a canned ham, cross the street to the bar and trade it for booze.
Prices go up and there are too many that say..well..I cant/wont do without my latte, my movie popcorn,my concert or game.
Meanwhile some hard worker is stretching that bag of pasta or rice to last longer.very mad
Hope your day is sweet, P.teddybear
don't worry, we are headed for the deepest depression we ever had ..
I think you're right on that Calli. wave
