The worst homeless problem in the world

It's amazing that the highest number of homeless people isn't in the first world but the third world, besides South America and Africa as the worst, India, Pakistan, Philippines and Indonesia has the highest numbers.

What surprises me is the fact that the richest country, like Switzerland has a considerable amount of homeless people.

Check the record posted and it's mind boggling.

We can donate, 41 billion to Ukraine with no contingencies and we can't get this problem eliminated.

But one of the major cause of this situation is because of the mental facilities that were shut down during the Reagan administration.

Note: If you criticize or expose the problems of any country you MUST check your own first otherwise you're being hypocritical.

Compared with Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, we have lesser numbers of homelessness if the number of population is factored in..check out the list of countries' statistics as posted on my link.
USA not so nice to their homeless you say? Did I get that right?

Well, I have no idea why that is. But it's been like this for ages right?
No, I didn't say that. Per the system, we ha a program that takes care of them, but because of mental imbalance they succumb to non compliance of the program. Most of them prefer to live on the streets because lack of mental stability. The truth is we have always had allocations for taking care of them. My suggestion is to put back the mental facilities that used to house them and be given all kinds of medications to control them.
There's so many homeless in the world and the UN is overwhelmed with the mighty injustice these people are subjected to. A most effective resolution should be enacted to assist them. It's so unfair for anyone to be in this situation but what can we suggest as the best solution?
I think drugs is the main problem in the USA regarding homelessness.
Probably not so in 3rd world countries
Agree?

I had two thought: 1) I could marry one if she was for sure drug free and mentally stable.
Help one off the street you know. 2) I could start a dating site to follow in my footsteps.
What do you think, is this a good idea?
Hahaha, can you at least marry me first? Then we initiate a most effective way of getting tgem connected to someone like you?

Kidding aside that's a very noble idea. I introduced about a hundred of my relatives and friends to so many people here and it's a very good means of helping people, not to mention happiness as the sole objective. Believe it or not these people are still happily married bu two.
My extra note on here: if you criticize anyone for whatever reason, you MUST check yourself first.

If you criticize any country with whatever problems it has, you must look at your country first so as to be free of hypocritical attitude.

I stand with my country on all its concerns specially on the elitist conduct of foreign and political affairs. I have some proposals for changes otherwise it's still the best country in the world as far as I'm concerned. Shame on those who think Americans and America is bad.
Yeap. drinking drinking drinking
If shame can be allocated in such an arbitrary fashion, I would say shame on those who supported Donald Trump. And shame on Donald Trump for building walls instead of houses for the homeless. sigh
Grandsiozzie: Yeap.
Can you just move here now? I propose for you to practice dual citizenship if you're up to it. I can assure you, you'll be a most valuable asset of the country which is one of the most critical criteria on becoming a US citizen. Just a suggestion.
Hahaha you make me smile Marmalade wave
I thought he must already be a US citizen, going on his obsession with American affairs. confused
Marm. This problem as I've explained isn't about lacking of services provided for them. Please read my comments. No president has been acting desensitized on this issue, it's more of like a mental concern like you're so prone in using it as an excuse to all your arguments. Hahaha I've found a good way of agreeing with your usual excuse. It works well on this one.
My only aim is to spread a little happiness, lindsy. smile wave
Well officially not yet but his heart and soul is, per my observation. lips
I realize you're becoming to be a blogline life giver Marm and I do like your posts however contradictory sometimes.cheering cheers
lol, well I'm happy to be welcome into your heart like that lindsy, gotta say!
Do I dare to move to the us of a ever.... time can tell only.
It don't seem completely safe there, on a few issues like health care,
but the people are lovely!

Check it out for yourself and then decide. My experience of having lived here the longest is because of what it has to offer it's people. Believe me, you'll be surprised. It has all vad elements just like anywhere in the world but in general it's still the best for me. teddybear
And our health care us top notch G. If you're one of the unfortunate, you're 100 percent covered. If you're working but can't afford full coverage, medical/Medicare is set up to help you. Heck 20 million illegals are provided free services, housing, food and necessities.
I don't doubt you have the best health care available in the world, but at what cost.
I know it's a profit drive business.

You can also risk being locked away in prison for ages on almost nothing,
and that is scary too. Again based on the same: private businesses running it.
So apart from the scary stuff I know it's a lovely place, and again,
mostly due to the very sweet and underestimated American population.
Only good experiences with them.

Mental facilities most were closed years ago. The biggest scandal in my eyes........
I see many homeless that have carts that are loaded up sky high impossible to know what they possess
These are the homeless that are mentally sick
They used to be taken care of in an institution, fed three times a day, and had a nice warm bed.
Doors were locked all the time.
Can you see this?
One day those doors were not locked and the people were encouraged to get out.........what a shock
all of a sudden they now had to find food and a place to stay how some managed is amazing.
Those institutions need to come back and many homeless would be of the streets..................crying
You'll be happy. That's a promise.
It's sad Jen.sad flower sad flower sad flower
We must truly commit ourselves in finding a solution of this problem.
It's a horrible situation why people must have to go through this unfortunate way of life.
