Trump's former the lawyer Rudy Giuliani is a central figure in an investigation into election interference in Georgia. He's due to appear before a special grand jury and has been telling prosecutors that following his unspecified medical procedure, he cannot travel to the state to appear because he is not healthy enough to fly.Giuliani told prosecutors his doctor ordered him not to fly, but that didn't stop him from flying to New Hampshire on August 1st where he incriminated himself posting the visit on social-media.
Georgia prosecutors said they had obtained records showing Giuliani had purchased multiple airline tickets with cash, including tickets to Rome, Italy, and Zurich, Switzerland, for flights between July 22 and July 29. All of those dates were after the witness's medical procedure.

"Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello, said that Georgia prosecutors originally told New York courts that Giuliani was a material witness whose testimony was crucial to the probe examining “coordinated attempts to unlawfully alter the outcome of the 2020 elections.” On Monday, however, Giuliani’s legal team were informed that the former mayor of New York City is a “target” of the probe."

While he was commended for quickly cleaning up the rubble from the nine-eleven attack, I believe he (intentionally) removed valuable evidence that would have allowed forensics to determined if (inside job) explosives were already in the buildings prior to the towers being struck by aircraft. He became a hero and nowhere was he accused of tampering with crime scene evidence. Something that will fade away...
Giuliani was one of 19 defendants charged in a sprawling investigation in Fulton County, Georgia. Giuliani said of the indictment on a live-stream podcast: "I know this case backwards and forwards. They're not crimes"
