Performing at a hotel event sponsored by the Catholic Youth Organization, Tiny Tim came on stage and made a short speech. He thanked us for allowing him the time.
Outside Criteria Recording Studio, I met guitarist Mike Pinera (Blues Image & Iron Butterfly) who was hanging with from friends between sessions.
One group I was in often performed at a local dance hall. They changed the format to concert hall and started bringing in name acts. I was fortunate to meet bands like Canned Heat & Allman Brothers. Ted Nugent and his group partied with some of my band-mates.
A few years later in a different group, we opened for a free concert where Ted Nugent was the headliner.
Through close association with another musician, I met the members of Quiet Riot.
For a college concert, we were on the same bill as Brownsville Station (Smokin' in the Boys Room) so I got to meet Cub Koda. Was he famous??
