A big ride

I took a vacation to Oregon. It's about 1800 miles one way. I made it in 3 days on my trike. On the way up I had 2 days I rode over 600 miles, a bit hard on the sit down, but still a lot of fun. On the way home I had a day I rode a little over 700 miles. I didn't much care for riding around in the Portland area, but I loved it when we went to the coast. Such beautiful country, and the roads are great for riding. While in Oregon I had my sister, 2 nieces, and a nephew ride with me. What a trip, not bad for an old man.

Sounded like a great ride Ted, what are the coastal roads there are they tight and twisty or open with flowing corners ?

The roads near the coast are pretty twisty. It made for a fun day of riding. The route we took from my niece's place was the same. Great times.

Its always good to have different types of corners to break the monotony of straight roads...
The coastal roads here are tight and twisty, their a heap of fun on a 2 wheeler..

Hey Ted i've never ridden a road trike, i was wondering if you can turn your trike with the throttle;; sort of like light up the rear tires and power slide part way around the corners ?

Not bad at all pal. Glad you had fun riding around.

Aside: 1,300miles in a small modern 1.3 petrol would generate around 250kg of CO2.
