Celebration of Life...

This past weekend, I attended a Celebration of Life for a former coworker I've known nearly 30 years. His younger brother whom I've worked with at least 40 years called to tell me the sad news he suddenly passed away.
His speech was slurring one morning and they suspected a stroke. He had a CT scan that revealed an inoperable brain tumor. They were scheduling him for some radiation treatments, but he passed away within a week of the diagnosis.
He was a big guy (in many ways) who always had pleasant things to say about everyone. Workaholic, but enjoyed life. He had a big family and often took vacations with his motor home. Fishing trips in the Atlantic when possible. I've been on 3 company cruises to the islands where he and his wife attended and they always were great to share a table and listen to some of his life stories.
To Larry, who was always finer than a frog's hair split 3 ways... may the road you're on be as interesting as the one you were on in this world!
