Farewell My Lovely..
I have tried the best I can to get to know him and let him get to know me, but it doesn't work. It just does not. When he needed someone to caress him, I even personally asked a nice lady to be with him as long as he needed. The lady kept me informed about what they had together. Few days after he came back home, away from the lady, he and I were still in contact. Every time I called him, he still responded. I tried my best to talk to him.. to understand him more. But lately it seemed that he just wanted to be alone, doing whatever he loved doing before he met me. I know I am the most guilty one. I couldn't and still can't give him the caresses he needs the way the lady did. So I guess, he missed the lady more than he did me, and that's why he stopped responding to my calls. Yes, he has stopped meeting me.Nothing I can do, but expect the best for him.
"Farewell my lovely Lucky! I know you are a fighter, not a sissy. I know you would rather starve than become a pet! Watch out when crossing the street and please do stay healthy, ok Lucky! You know where I live. You know how to meet me. You know that my gate will always be open for you. You know you can come back to me any time!"

From what I hear cats always come back
Instead of her Mom, my friend did take care of Lucky. The plan was for a week. But something came up. She had to go on an office duty to another City for 3 days (Mon-Wed). Monday morning she took Lucky to the office and returned him to me. She said I could let him go as Lucky's right eye was much better. I took lucky home and let him go.
Maybe not good enough. I told my Giant how I hated myself because I couldn't even touch the cat.. too scared! But like you, my Giant also said good things.. to cheer me up.
Yes, that's what I heard. But my biggest fear is .. what if he gets hit by a car or a motorbike when he crosses the street?
Lucky will be fine
So I do really hope he is fine because I have given up looking for him.
Anyway, I still have the cat food I bought last time for Lucky. I put the food every day, before leaving for work and after coming back from work. If not Lucky, then other cats will finish every last crumbs. And then that's it, no more cat food.
That made me wonder where she sleeps..
Because it's rainy season (it rains almost every day), it must be cold outside at night. So I thought of giving her a place to sleep.
To my surprise, she was in!
But she's gone after getting the food!

I will get rid off that box then. Besides, that cat seemed to not like it anyway.
I have two cats that are neutered males and brothers. Very handsome boys they are. Real characters and a lot of fun to have. Contrary to what a lot of people think, cats do get really attached to you and you become part of their "family".
They are also great at keeping rats, mice, rabbits and stoats away... so earn their keep.
I hope to see a pregnant cat give birth in that box

My Giant asked me to give Meeno the food away from the Momma cat. He also asked me talk to Meeno to be kinder to other cats or he would be kicked out. I am sure I was out of my mind when I did what my Giant told me.
Guess what..??
This morning I saw Meeno and the Momma cat a bit closer to each other without fighting. Meeno started leaving the Momma cat alone having the food
Anyway, from the size if her tummy My Giant guess the Momma cat is carrying 6 baby kittens. My guess is 4. How many baby kittens do you think she is carrying? Come on make a guess..
Kal I can't stop laughing as it seems word on the street is come to Kals home & make home

Besides, Meeno kept "copying" what the Momma cat did in order to get more attention from me. I think Meeno is a smart cat, but a jealous one too.
I wanted to take Meeno to the Vet. But.. for now I still find that cat scary!
My neighbour told me that Meeno is an Angora cat, which was exactly what I thought when first time I saw Meeno.

Usually I would check my verandah at around 05:30 AM. I would see the Momma cat siting and waiting for the food in front of my door. But today, I didn't do it on time as I was running a bit late. When I opened the door and put the food, I only saw Meeno. The Momma cat was gone. If she is back, I would make a place for her to deliver her baby kittens..

I want to know if my prediction was right
But I was wrong. That Momma is a "criminal". Prof Google told me that a mother cat should be with her newborn kittens almost all the time.
But that Momma Cat left the newborn kittens for too long.
I saw that Momma with a male cat. They were in my verandah.
Yesterday, I checked my verandah several times since coming back from the office. They were there! This morning at around 5 AM, I checked it again. That Momma was still there, and so was she at around 5:30 AM!
I hate that Momma now.
If not because of my Giant, I would have stopped giving her food.

Once I tried tailing her. She didn't go to her baby kittens.
Instead, she stopped and sit under a car in my neighbourhood.
I just put cat food and drink at my verandah. There have been some cats that stopped by, ate and drank. However, the frequent visitors I saw so far were the Momma cat and Meeno.
