New desk and a surprising client.
Yesterday morning, I ordered a new desk. One of those large gamer desks, complete with drinks holder and holder for my headset. Surprisingly, it came earlier today. That means, it took just over 24 hours for the order to be processed, shipped and delivered. That's what I call service!The table itself is metal, but with a wooden top. They also included a mouse pad that's the same size as the table. Absolutely fantastic. The table itself took about an hour to put together, so now I'm using that. The other desk I had went into the basement, where I got it when I moved in.
Today has been a good day at work. Very slow, but generally good. One of the customers today was someone I would never expect - the Danish sportscar manufacturer Zenvo. They needed two drain plugs, which surprised me. They make million dollar cars, and they need some simple drain plugs. So much for the claim that they make everything in house.. However, it COULD be for one of their big trucks they use to ship the cars from events to events. But still - Zenvo.. For a car nerd, this is the holy grail!
We also had a VERY annoying client today. This person ALWAYS comes five minutes before closing, and he always orders a load of stuff. He also eats our fruit, which is strictly for the people who work there!
But apart from that, it's been a good day today. A very good week, actually. This weekend I'm gonna go to my brother's birthday, and just relax! I hope you'll have a great weekend!
