Good Lord, how many times do we all have to hear about "if you had lived in Camp Lejeune between 1953 to 1988, you may be eligible for toxic water claims to receive compensation in a lawsuit."?!Geez, that's all we ever hear these days.
Believe it or not, I was actually born there back in 1967. My dad was a Marine and was stationed there so I fit right into the time frame. However, I have no health problems as of yet from the toxic water. It says that health problems may develop later in life. Stay tuned!

The thing is one could have something which might only become apparent in older age, something akin to alzheimers which may have been triggered by a toxin.

Years ago, my husband and I were so angry at his doctors, we got hold of a lawyer like that. He came to the house and said we did have a just case. Then the kicker. Yes, he worked free. BUT!! If he made phone calls, we were billed. If he drove somewhere, we were billed mileage. If he got a Doctor to testify for us, we paid the Doc, time, mileage, motel, etc. If the lawyer mailed letters...guess what..billed.
So one can end up paying out a ton of cash even if the lawyer isn't getting his 80 or 100 an hour. What a joke.
I was awakened yesterday by robo. Medicare..you can get money back. What bull...and use it to pay their premium. I long for Dec 7th when enrollment ends for medicare. Yesterday was 9 or 10 calls. It goes on all day. Medicare, Spectrum, Auto insurance, life line, Amazon purchase for 1000 phone. Good luck on that one. Go right ahead. Take that $36 left from a gift card. No credit card attached.
