Best adult Christmas movie in decades

I had more fun watching this movie than I have had in decades. It has a great Christmas theme, but also lots of humor, romance and all out violence. It merge the themes of Die Hard and Home Alone and Santa Claus in a unique and refreshingly enjoyable way. I give this one at least 4.5 stars out of 5 for sheer enjoyment and a Director that put the right actors in the right parts. If you do nothing else for yourself this year, go see this movie.

Violent Night
he plot: A large gang of violent, murderous, mercenaries invade a rich woman's estate to murder and rob during a Christmas Eve party. Unknown to them Santa Claus has slipped down the chimney to deliver a gift to a little girl in the house. As his reindeer flee machine gun fire and leave Santa behind the invaders then try to kill Santa and threaten the little girl which unleashes Santa's dark side.

David Harbour. He is great in it. I hope they do a pecursor movie about Santa's life before he became the 1 and only Santa Claus. I won't give a spoiler, but the movie shows his earlier life as a mortal was an interesting one.
