Why is it...

that when people talk about their favorite color, it's always red or blue or green? Why no love for teal, mauve or burgundy?

look at all the different people in this world some will love tealbarf and some mauvebarf burgundy applause it ok but BLUE banana yes I love BLUE this color makes me happy it speaks to me calm and Serene and cool see its what we get from the color not everyone gets the same thing

I just realized that some of these emoticons are highly disturbing and overused. haha...

For as long as I can remember my favorite color has always been purple, but then within the past year or two I find myself very drawn to tan colors and maroon. dunno

Perhaps because they are the primary colors.

Red, yellow, green and blue are single or primary colors that form the basis of secondary colors (such as purple, green, and orange) or tertiary colors (like burgundy and teal). Burgundy is two parts yellow and two parts red, while pink is simply one part red and one part white.

Red, Gold, and Black are my favourite colours at the moment but about ten years ago my favourite colour was purple. i would go to the supermarket and buy my groceries on colour of packaging (purple)! laugh
as we grow older, does our feelings for colours change or is more as our moods mature?
