Grammatical puns and a round tuit

My Russian-speaking student in the Americas happened to ask me how she could best describe her online lidded and engraved coffee mugs and it occurred to me as perfect for engraving 'I promised you I'd get a round tuit' - ideal gift from wife to husband don't you agree? She claimed to understand but the pun I thought rather flew over her head, so we did the next lesson on grammatical puns, some of which I include here:
