Thanks Shawn. I was working non stop on that. I only had two more months to submit everything. It’s a lot. It’s like you’re going to college all over again. I don’t know why they do that. I knew every single thing on the new tests. I didn’t fail it. It’s just so annoying and a lot of work for things I already know. Then they tell me but we don’t know that and neither do your employers. You have to prove that you still know it. Yeah I know all about jumping through stupid hoops. I’m just glad it’s over.

Thanks Jenny. He does. We both really like each other but we’re not compatible spiritually. I’ve told him this. That’s usually my issue with men. They don’t want any part of God for some reason. I can’t make them do anything regarding that. We were dating but I told him I couldn’t go any further and he understood. Can’t believe he’s still okay with being friends but I told him I don’t want to keep dating you knowing it’s not gonna work. It’s just gonna get harder later on. So he said okay. So I said am I fired? He said nope. Aww…he’s not a typical man. He’s different. ?? Usually if you break it off with a man they’re like get out of my life then lol.

Anyways…too much info there maybe. Haha. On to your question. A medical assistant works in a medical office either working a doctor’s front or back office. I can work both though because I’m credentialed in both but some are only credentialed in one or the other. I like both so I decided to be credentialed in both. Sometimes coworkers call in sick too so I have to do both which is fine I just have to tell the doctor I’m by myself so he knows. We are different than nurses in that we can’t do specific procedures but we can handle most of them and running of the doctor’s office. Rooming patients, phone calls, vital signs, accepting payment for the visit, filling prescriptions, scheduling appointments…things of this nature. Basically we do things for the doctor that he doesn’t have time for. We also do injections of medications he orders. We also can assist him with procedures too if need be such as bone marrow biopsies, Pap smears, etc.

Yeah thanks. It’s been difficult sticking to my guns. Some men have called me out on that. He doesn’t call me out on much though that’s what I like about him. He’s very chill and patient with me. Someone told me well maybe he’ll change his mind on that later. That’s really only up to God though and not me. I can’t count on that happening. Usually they don’t change their mind on that. He told me his parents are Christians and that he hates being pushed to believe just because they do. I was raised Christian but I don’t feel that my parents pushed it on me but oh well. Everyone is different.
