Credit card on file...

I have a credit card about to expire and need to go through all the sources who use that card and be affected when I activate the replacement. Amazon, water company, power company, insurance, Internet provider, virus protection, cellphone service, prepaid toll...
Any one I forgot will have to chase me. Life is that way!

Whenever there is a credit card on file and it expires, the companies send emails. I do nothing and they update their system as they know that credit cards are activated for so many years.

Amazon is the only company I have to update myself on their website.

Yes every couple of years. Wait till you change a phone number too. Then you can't get online if you forgot to tell your bank or mortgage company because they either send the email to your phone or your last email address on file, and for some that email address was part of the package sold with the phone. LoL Ancient Chinese curse. May you live in interesting times. banana laugh

Update. The old card had the numbers embossed on the front for the old style paper receipt method. Now the front of the card is smooth with the numbers imprinted on the back. My card fits into my wallet with a opening that I would move my thumb up and remove the card. With a smooth front, I have to wrangle it out or not press it into the holder so I can lift it from the bottom.
Small detail.
The old card had been used so many times I was getting read errors on the chip at the front. Some places I had to press down on the edge of the card for the machine to read it.
The new car has been working fine.

Only have one card on line rest of bills by direct debit. Bank numbers stay same.

Everytime i move though grin i have a host of people to inform laugh
