END OF B.TECH. DEFINITELY NOT THE END OF THE WORLD

In a story by the author kulwant singh virk"the bull beneath the earth",the author stated that nowhere do men form thick friendships than in army but after my b tech,i have a feeling that might be that back in 1965,engineering colleges did not exist. Here in my graduation, though the management was really sucking but it were the friends who kept the balls rolling. Now i would be leaving all this in a few days. The last class of my b tech life have been over. . And exams are from 19 may. After exams i will be all alone in the world. . Without friends.people will keep meeting but they will come for their purpose only. Well sooner or later it was going to happen.

quite true. now it has already happened to me. but there are always some old friends who are sincere to you.
i met a friend 0n net he's fr0m US and living in japan for over 15 yrs ...He told me..'theres n0 permanent in this w0rld..you f0und friends and shares them your half of life...still you cann0t h0ld them for you Entire life...But Only the Mem0ries will remain...and that was the imp0rtant things you can build at the present.''..

I think we became all friends here in bl0gs...by sharing our thoughts and c0mments!

I have not read that story...but I totally agree with what than man wrote. I was in the Army for 4 and a half years, and I bonded more closely with those people than with anyone during the years I attended college. I think you gain valuable perspective about life and what really matters...and when lives could be on the line...or you have pushed your mind, body or spirit beyond what you ever thought you could...with others doing the same..there is nothign like it. Yes, you make close friends in school, but, I think there is something to be said about going through "hell" with others, and knowing that regardless of how strained your relationships can get, those people would be there for you through life and death, and are trained to save your life if needed, and vice versa. I dont think I could say the same for some peeps I went to college with. laugh

I still keep in touch with some people I went to Basic Training with...and that was about 10 years ago, but it seems like we never skipped a beat. No one can take away that bond, that experience, that connection.

cheers cool
