Your dog can say alot about you
If you dress your tiny little dog up in outfits, please, do the dog a favor and STOP! I think this is a shallow way to cover up other insecurities, neediness, and/or longing to have a child.I would like to specifically talk about dogs. I had alot of dogs growing up, my family always had alot of newfoundlands, we had a golden retriever, springer spaniel, and a couple of mutts- (hounds mixed with beagles - too cute!) I dont have a dog now, because I dont have the time to take care of one, and I dont think it would be fair to keep it couped up in an apartment all day. If I had a dog, I would have a black lab.
Anyway, I have no problem with people owning these small little teacup celebrity type dogs, but I can assure you I would never own one. I have seen people dress these dogs up and take them in their purses to happy hour.....
Are they toys? Do they belong dressed up at a bar? Should you not be finding some friends instead?
I think the pets we choose can say alot about us...and like the dog whisperer would say...usually the issue is with the owner!

I wonder if celebrities realize that they are sending quite the wrong message to little girls. They are sending the impression that a dog is a toy and some sort of accessory, and forgetting to convey the message that dogs are alot of responsibility! Perhaps this is why there are so many dogs in shelters
Adam- Agreed. Hope your good...long time no talk! If the dog really wanted to play dress up it would do it on its own. Really the only reason I can see to put a dog in anything would be if you lived in a really really cold area like Antartica and the dog was tiny and needed a sweater. But all this mess with dogs in tutu's and dogs wearing Louis Vitton is a tad much
haha, but yes I agree I think that the whole thing with pure breds is out of control also.
On any given day there are hundreds of animals needing homes in shelters.

I think we are all weird to someone.
But funny you mention the car thing because I was actually thinking about that when I wrote this blog....I agree I definetely think cars can say quite a bit about a person.
