Colds, flu, germ ,bugs.

Do you think that it is time the health system found a way to fix this for us by now, I have had this flu sinusitis for 3 weeks now and on my second lot of antibiotic now, I still feel sick and drag myself around , both my son and I are still not well,

I am not one to take antibiotic unless I really have to , but I am starting to think they really dont work anymore

Geez Carol. I refuse point blank to even see a doctor let alone take antibiotics. That's why I'm relatively healthy.laugh

You're right though. They are becoming less effective mainly because we are building up an immunity to them. They'll work less for your son and even more so for his sons and daughters.

And this only my theory..... I reckon constant users of antibiotics are prone to get crook more often because their own antibodies become a bit complacent with the outside help muscling in.

White - I have a friend who has been sick for ages now - started with the flu - but I must admit he gets eerything, plus some, that is going around so his immune system is generally f##ked.

Anti-b's aren't helping him either and being male he resists trying vit C or or other immune boosting ways to try to improve his health.

Rest, good eating, the right extra vitamins - I believe Vit C and zinc are two, lots of fluids would assist and definitely can't hurt anyway.

Hope you feel better very soon and your son too.

How is the not smoking going? Are you still going ok? Cos that should help your immune system too.

inhaling too much dusts is 1 cause of sinusitis...
Better avoid it, and if ur having severe sinusitis,,,i suggest u for salty water steam..
If u have a humidifier better keep it 0N all nyt,,
Or a natural way of steaming!
Juz boil s0me water with salt in a kettle(juz be careful) then inhale the steam sm0ke fr0m it when its boiling!.,it helps u 2 breath n0rmally at the same time reduces the cause of phlegm!

Vitamin D and C. Vitamin D3, actually. These should be taken regularly to keep the immune system operating properly.
