TEACHERS OF TODAY
Here I was, at my desk minding my own business when I recieved a frantic call from a teacher at Macayla's school...We have been told that we have 30 minutes to have all the children removed from the school grounds, or the teachers on strike will remove the children themselves...I was told!!!As I got to the school, I noticed alot of police and teachers actually fighting, kids being hauled out the grounds and my dear child stood in a corner with shock on her face..
It upsets me greatly that the people that are doing this to our children..are the people that spend 90% of the time with them..teaching and guiding them..
Our children learn to trust them and look up to them when they are in there care...How can we expect our children to respect those same teachers next week???

It makes one wonder WHY the police were there and WHY the threaten of a strike. Somehow, I get the feeling that the kids weren't being angelic.
Just read that again and the ON STRIKE hit home...they were already on strike...my mistake!!
