Rushing out the door in the early hours of the morning I was frantically searching to find my cell phone. It wasn't on the nightstand. It wasn't in my pockets. It wasn't in the kitchen, the bathroom, the car, the dining room, the den, or out on the patio."Hey listen sis, I have got to go or I'll be late for work." Click....Duh....
Sometimes I do the craziest things like trying to find something that is right in the palm of my hand. What is the craziest story that you wish to share about something that you have misplaced only to find out that it was right there in plain sight the entire time?

They were there..
Well, once I placed my mobile in the refrigerator! I was looking for it for hours and couldn't find it... I would have dialed the number to hear it ring, but I...ehmmmm...
I also usually loose my keys to the house... so I always live a window open "just in case"...
...But I've heard of even worse stories. Like tourists forgetting their 3 month old baby in the bus, or their wifes back at the port (ok, that might have been done on purpose!lol)
